How to not score drugs: Ask a cop for some on a city street
According to cops, the Shamokin, PA woman stopped a police officer and asked him to help her a fix of heroin.. obviously the cop didn’t assist.
A snippet from the NEWS ITEM:
Arlina Alves, 49, of 142 E. Lincoln St., flagged down Patrolman Raymond Siko II in his cruiser while he was patrolling Liberty Street at 9:30 a.m.
Siko said Alves told him she needed a “fix,” asked him for some heroin and even requested a ride to York to purchase heroin.
After Siko pointed out that he is a police officer, Alves allegedly replied, “That’s even better because you probably have some heroin at the station that you have taken off people. I only need one bag.”
After realizing she wasn’t getting any heroin, Siko said Alves became combative and started cursing in the middle of the street in front of three adults and two children.
Siko said Alves admitted drinking a couple bottles of wine the night before.
She was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

So I have another website, as some may know, and I put a little funny comment on there about how OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN came in second place this weekend at the box office. And wouldn’t you know it, I actually got a death threat about it..

A St. Clair, PA man assaulted a woman over her political beliefs. And it happened in his business location...
Seriously, this is nuts:
Saint Clair police Patrolman Frank DiMarco said, Prutzman, owner of The Trading Post Pawn Shop on South Second Street, assaulted the woman at the business after becoming enraged at her for supporting and voting for Obama.
The woman, who was not identified, suffered a severe laceration to the right side of her forehead, cuts and scrapes on her head, neck and ear and appeared to have dirt on her coat and scuffs on her knees and clothing, DiMarco said.
DiMarco said the argument began about 9:30 p.m. Friday over the woman’s political views at which time Prutzman threw her against walls.
As the story goes.. the victim also said that as she tried to get away, her neck was grabbed and her head was thrown off the ground…

I spent a little too much time this weekend reading news accounts of horrible situations
Locally, here in the coal region this morning, two beautiful young children died in a car accident.. Tonight I was reading about a child who died at an Atlanta airport after a display sign fell on him.. I am still following up about the story of the child in Georgia who was killed in his stroller, it was the second child who died on the mom—another older boy died in New Jersey in gun violence..
And you know what? I am sick of it all.
It’s not bad enough that I have a cold/flu type of a thing for about a week.. but all of this mental pressure was probably too much for me.
No news is good news.
The happiest people sometimes skip to the sports section..
But I cannot.
Instead, I broil with anger and simmer with agony at daily headlines from sea to bloody sea…
This is one crazy messed up world, don’t you think?

Rumble in the Garden State..
Many websites had information about rumblings, booms, and tremors the other day…They remain a mystery, though all the likely sources like planes and military say they aren’t responsible . Is it natural gas? Chris Christie running for another donut? A calamity coming to earth? …booms from aliens? Lots of strange theories abound. And while some laugh at those who are claiming the sky is falling, they don’t have any explanation themselves. Why did these booms take place, and where did three counties feeling the ground underneath them shake? This is a perplexing issue, isn’t it? And one that we should treat with some more respect instead of just mocking people who are fearful that the crust is shaking under our shoes. ..
The thing I find the most fascinating about this story (and various others when they occur across the world) is that big media doesn’t show up to cover it. It’s local affiliates small newspapers.. not CNN, FOX, or MSNBC.. instead people who want answers need to trudge through the millions of websites to find reliable coverage someone from a local network .. and even those stories shed little light on a subject that I believe demands greater attention..
Look.. you have a massive sinkhole in Louisiana that gets no attention. Sinkholes in Florida.. a man swallowed on a golf course on the 14th hole.. and years now of booms, rattles, tremors, all across the crust of the planet. There is something happening. Maybe science can explain it calmly and collectively. But no one from the science community has addressed it. Instead we’re left to our own demons.. speculating about what the noises could be, while others in the ‘mainstream’ laugh at conspiracy theorists who want answers.
Until you hear the booms or your house shakes, perhaps you won’t care. But when it happens to you? A whole different story —and if you’re a reporter, maybe a story you’d finally be willing to cover.

This seems to be a truly tragic and sick story from Pontiac, Michigan. This woman, a 75-year-old grandmother named Sandra Layne, gunned down her 17-year-old grandson named Jonathon Hoffman.
Prosecutors called the scene a massacre, and want Layne to be convicted of murder.. Layne says it was in self defense, and that Hoffman in self-defense..
According to the AP report on the shooting:
Layne testified last week that she was afraid of her grandson and acted in self-defense. She said she shot him after he struck her while arguing over his demands for money and a plan to flee Michigan. Hoffman had failed a drug test earlier that day, which could have been a parole violation.
Walton reminded jurors that Layne didn’t report any injuries to police when they arrived at her home after the shooting.
"Not I was afraid, I acted in self-defense, he came after me," Walton said. "I murdered. I shot. I killed — those are her first statements to law enforcement. … She hunted down Jonathan Hoffman because he wouldn’t listen."
He called it a “massacre.”
I don’t know how the jury will find her.. I can’t say I heard about this until today. And every murder is tragic.. but something seems exceptionally tragic about a grandmother shooting her grandson, regardless of why..

bus carrying the Seton Hill University women’s lacrosse team crashed into a tree in southern Pennsylvania on Saturday, killing the team’s head coach and the bus driver, authorities said.
Coach Kristina Quigley was six months pregnant and her unborn child did not survive, the Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Department of Public Safety said.
The accident was still under investigation Saturday afternoon, a state police spokesman said.

A friend of mine.. and a Catholic, who like all Catholics, leaves the faith at some point.
I can say it is interesting that the shear humility that Bergoglio displays may be enough to re-kindle that magic that once was that Catholic church experience.

It’s graphic, unsettling, horrifying, and very real. These kids are sick, and not just the ones who did the act of the rape but also the ones who actively took part in it via text message.. Very sick stuff, read at your own discretion, and maybe just maybe, let your kids see how sick their fellow kids can be.

The Facebook generation can detect falseness and hypocrisy a mile away. They are the core of the ‘leave me alone’ coalition. They doubt that Social Security will be there for them. They worry about jobs and money, rent and student loans. They want leaders that won’t feed them a line of crap or sell them short. They aren’t afraid of individual liberty. Ask them whether we should put a kid in jail for the nonviolent crime of drug use and you’ll hear a resounding no. Ask them if they want to bail out Too-Big-To-Fail banks with their tax dollars. I have two websites, as some of you may know. The other one is the HORRORREPORT.COM, where I espouse crazy conspiracy theories, UFOs, ghosts, and all that jazz. Fun stuff.. paranormal and para-political. But tonight, something freaked me out. The photo you see here is a screen cap of what occurred at 6:06 pm this evening.. my hit counter read 666666, and the headline on the top of the site was somewhat mocking the new Pope calling him “A Pope named Francis,” sort of an allusion to a BOY NAMED SUE by Johnny Cash.
So … as a boy born and raised Catholic would do, I rarely go to Church. I am considering it now though.. the trail of 6’s alarmed me.
I know, I know.. it’s all fake. Not real. No worries. Just numbers. And I know at least four of my followers on a somewhat personal basis to know enough that they are atheists.. So they will tell me it’s all hogwash to begin with. Why fear numbers if there’s no God or Satan..
But something chilled me… A little.
Of course, it is the HORROR REPORT. That’s where scary things are supposed to happen.

Birds of a feather Assisi together.
While the world was waiting for the new Pope to be revealed, before the white smoke was even rising, birds were resting on the chimney at St. Peter’s Square..
Perhaps only odd because of the Pope’s name. St. Francis of Assisi had a love for animals…his is often painted with birds circling him. And then Cardinal Bergoglio chosen St. Francis as his name, after Francesco di Pietro di Bernardone….
Interesting stuff. I’m sure purely coincidental. right?

Here have been tons of rumors about the Malachy Prophecy of the Popes. You can always check my other site, HorrorReport.com, if you want to see more about that.. In the meantime, on this site I’ll keep things a little more subdued. But i thought I’d reprint an email I shared with friends early this morning:

So with ‘Francis’ being named Pope, it’s a common thought that the ‘prophecy of the popes’ has been undone. Or that it was never real to begin with.. But a few elements that people are neglecting to think about on the veracity of the prophecy:
1) Bergoglio is a Jesuit. In the prophecy, the final pope would try to re-establish supremacy of the Catholic Church—something that Jesuits are known for since their main mission is to stop Protestantism from spreading.
2) He took his name from St. Francis of Assisi. The interesting part of that is St. Francis’ full name was Francesco Di Pietro di Bernardone. One priest commentator on CNN last night actually mentioned how, in the Vatican, Bergoglio may be known both as “Francis and Peter”
3) Cardinal Bergoglio obviously was from South America—but both of his parents were Italian.
And finally, whoever saw Pee Wee Herman’s Big Adventure will surely understand this.. In the film, Pee Wee’s bike was stolen by his neighbor causing him to travel to psychics, giant dinosaurs, and the Alamo’s supposed basement in Texas. And neighbor who stole it was named Francis. How ironic now that Bergoglio picked Francis. Coincidence? You decide. I say we check his Church for stolen bikes.

I was 13 years young.. not a care in the world—certainly not worried about anyone else. After all, I had three feet of snow in my front yard to play in, and a story of memories. As I said before, even as a kid, I recall that I realized I was living through history. I enjoyed weather and news—I was a TIME and NEWSWEEK magazine subscriber my whole life since 10 after all..
We haven’t had a storm like this in ages.
It was the ‘true’ superstorm.. One that will take quite a bit to be matched.

Despite many people believing that the Catholic Church would pick a progressive pope, this Argentinian certainly will not be applauded by those who are more progressive and liberal within the religion.. Look no further handstands on the controversial abortion issue, he is much more hard-line than many popes have been..

Keep your beer goggles on. Just don't wear Google glasses. A dive bar in Seattle has become the first place to ban the Google Glasses..

And even though the article sort of makes a mockery of the owner and the bar, the points he makes are valid and …quite frankly, I agree wholeheartedly.
I understand a public place is not one where you go to find privacy.. but there’s something different about a dark and smoky bar. Well I guess not smoky, since cigs are banned in places, too.. but you catch my drift.
With Google Glass, all is known.. all is live.. all is streamed. No secrets.
Let’s keep some places sorta private? Please? Let’s keep the dive bar on AnyCorner, USA, a little under the radar? Without that, there’d be no place left to go!

This is all just getting weird, isn’t it?
Justin Bieber is weird already.. but the latest strangeness surrounding his collapse, his gas mask, and his attempt at an erotic tweet of himself in the hospital…. is all just creepy.
He is crashing and burning.. the kid that grew up on YouTube and became a name across the world… isn’t handling fame well, lately.
But who would, really?
Maybe the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is exactly what he needs..
