The promised “January thaw” lasted about 50 hours at the beginning of this month.. a promised ‘warm up’ was to come late this month. My latest forecast for this deep dark neck of the formerly economic bastion of growth in the coal region of the United States is calling for snow or ice 95% of the forecast time.

Beware the earth wobble..
After research and thought, I may have finally figured out whether or not my sign has changed from Virgo to Leo..

And the same could potentially go for Tumblr, Posterous, Google Blogger (Never Google though) or any other site that relies on ad revenue to survive.
The safest thing to do for those whom worry of their web creations surviving: Constantly back them up. Somewhere.

Florentine Dejesus-Lopez moved from Queens NY to the Harrisburg, PA area. He wanted to own his own business and be his own boss—everyone’s dream. And he was just about to get realization of the dream..
However, a teenage or 20-something-year-old gunman entered his store, shot him with a rifle five times, only to get an empty register..
And now Florentine Dejesus-Lopez is dead.

I took the Coal Speaker dog Bailey for a walk tonight in the snow storm. There was something very peaceful..
Night snow is quiet.. And yes, my location is miles from an interstate and relatively in a quiet part of the earth, there is still noise pollution. But on a night where the only thing visible is slow falling snow under orange-hued street lights, there is no noise except precipitation hitting the ground..
Every now and then, a passing car’s tires crunched by slowly, driven by anxious persons desperately trying to stay in the barely visible auto tracks of vehicles that passed by long enough ago that snow is already covering the evidence..
Yes, indeed. I love a quiet night. And since in our modern ‘error’ of over-doing it, taking a night off isn’t a bad idea at all. Even when the forceful hand of mother nature makes us do it..

For Tara, every day has been take your child to work day. Your active, apparently happy, or angry, baby boy in the womb.. I feel forher. The sleepless nights are getting more sleepless, as the lungs are being pushed along with any other vital organs in Ayden’s way.
The miracle of life.. it’s unstoppable. And every night around 9pm Ayden becomes unstoppable, as well.
And he’s coming. Soon. Eight months in, and Tara can’t wait. Neither can I. Of course, if we think sleepless night are sleepless now..? Wait until true sleeplessness sets in.
