This could be the beginning of everything strange and bizarre, wonderful and amazing. From the NEW SCIENTIST report,

THE curtain at the edge of the universe may be rippling, hinting that there’s more backstage. Data from the European Space Agency’s Planck telescope could be giving us our first glimpse of another universe, with different physics, bumping up against our own.

That’s the tentative conclusion of an analysis by Ranga-Ram Chary, a researcher at Planck’s US data centre in California. Armed with Planck’s painstaking map of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) – light lingering from the hot, soupy state of the early universe – Chary revealed an eerie glow that could be due to matter from aneighbouring universe leaking into ours.

This sort of collision should be possible, according to modern cosmological theories that suggest the universe we see is just one bubble among many. Such a multiverse may be a consequence of cosmic inflation, the widely accepted idea that the early universe expanded exponentially in the slimmest fraction of a second after the big bang.

Some people I speak to about these subjects, particularly those who don’t take well to science ruining certain religious principles they have grown up with, hate the concept of multiple universes. But regardless of our acceptance or not, certain truths still exist. 

There have long been many people who have believed in such things. And these strange and spooky things…? Well they come closer to being true..

A mysterious chunk of space debris will hit Earth off the coast of Sri Lanka on November 13. Scientists have no clear idea what it is, other than that it is likely artificial in origin, and have dubbed the object WT1190F.

“It’s a lost piece of space history that’s come back to haunt us,” Jonathan McDowell, an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, told Nature.

Detected by the Catalina Sky Survey, an observation lab at the University of Tucson, the alleged piece of space debris initially puzzled observers. But astronomers then went back through the lab’s past images from telescopes, and noticed that it had been present for quite a while.

I heard about McClelland before.. Years ago actually. I dug up an old link here where people are actively doubting his story—and even giving some evidence that they felt showed he was not even an astronaut like he said..

This new DAILY MAIL article doesn’t really contain new information, it’s just recycled stuff from about 7 or 8 years previous..

Take a deep breath.. read the headline a few times until the true power of it sinks in. Jupiter’s moon.. a salty ocean.. 

Though it may seem like eons for my, it wasn’t too long ago that I learned in school how Earth was the only planet with life and water. And there were only 9. Boom. Done.

Now there’s trillions with untoldillions to be discovered. And maybe multiverses.. and Pluto is NOT a planet. But CERES has glowing balls of light emitting from it. And we are landing on asteroids.. and there’s a ROVER on MARS watching the sunset from the distant planet.. and TITAN may have water.. And MARS may have HAD water..

And we are stardust.
And there may be aliens..
And we are not alone.

This is an amazing time to be alive. It also makes me ponder if ‘disclosure’ is going to drip out slowly .. with each new story about water on some distant body in space, are we being primed for the ultimate: Not only water is abundant, but life is too?

A soggy place. 
Much different than those 1980s and 90s grade school textbooks in science. And even much more different than those 2013 textbooks.

There is a developing story from space .. a toxic leak has occurred in the United States segment of the International Space Station.. NASA said that the crew is not in danger–but they have taken refuge in the Russian side of the module..

Now this is amazing.. Scientists captured three supermassive volcanic eruptions on Jupiter’s Moon Io..  They took place in August 2013.

A co-author on the study, Ashley Davies, a volcanologist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), is de Pater’s long-time colleague.

"These new events are in a relatively rare class of eruptions on Io because of their size and astonishingly high thermal emission," Davies said in the release. "The amount of energy being emitted by these eruptions implies lava fountains gushing out of fissures at a very large volume per second, forming lava flows that quickly spread over the surface of Io."

Maybe we are watching the trials and tribulations that earth went through billions of years back, long before we had telescopes able to see anything like what we see here ..

NASA is testing a flying saucer like craft device for a Mars landing.. read that again: WE are going to land a flying saucer on Mars. Seriously.. is this cranky comedy or something? We are going to be the UFOs in a UFO flying over the planet Mars.. I don’t know if it’s irony or just a bitter joke to all of the UFO enthusiasts who believe that circular craft has been flying over the planet Earth for decades..

Remember just about 48 hours ago we and others reported that NASA had a book about aliens potentially being associated with ancient rock art? Well.. NASA has pulled that e-book. Without explanation. … Do we really need an explanation…?

This image is what NASA imagines human will look like on Mars. The shiny space suit appears to be more from a TWILIGHT ZONE episode than a cutting edge future.. NASA is calling it the Z-2 Spacesuit. It’s only a prototype. So maybe there is still time for more color to be added to the drabby appearance that human beings would have on the red planet..

The new gray outfit comes after a 2012 release of a BUZZ LIGHTYEAR type prototype. 

The new improved design is vacant flags but has a fortress of protection for the astronauts who will wear the attire.

Maybe now NASA could work on getting some additional funding to actually get us to Mars. OR we can just rely on the private industry. And if we do, perhaps Versace can come up with the wardrobe.

Lots of people, including me, were amazed and curious over that strange light on Mars caught on an image by a rover.. an anomaly? A lens flare?

The endless treasure trove of conspiracy theories have flourished online. 

But now NASA is weighing in with a scientific possibility: It’s light reflecting off of the sun.  Maybe. Just maybe. A very shiny rock..

I would hope someone curious enough would send that rover over there and take a peak and what we’re seeing.. right? NASA would do that, right? They’re pretty curious folks who want to believe.. Right…? SEND THE ROVER AND IT WILL BE OVER..

“So my best guess for this rock … is that it’s something that was nearby,” said Squyres. “I must stress that I’m guessing now, but I think it happened when the rover did a turn in place a meter or two from where this rock now lies.”
