A lot of religious folks are celebrating the ‘celebration’ of mass that this 3-year-old is taking part in.. But it raises a question for me that is quite the opposite of one that some Christians may believe: Does this prove, or at least give weight to the argument, that reincarnation happens.

It is obviously plausible that this boy was the product of his environment.. His family perhaps was very religious, causing him to want these items and learn what he did. And kids at 3 could be very intelligent. But.. could it also be at least possible that maybe he is bringing his baggage with him from a previous life? I say yes.
And maybe that makes me someone in the minority. But I say yes.

This is a pretty sad story, from beginning to end. And now neighbors are faced with a life altering question: What did they miss, and could they have prevented anything if they would have seen signs that clearly they didn’t.

Were they? … We are all like that sometimes.
This is a good story to exemplify why we should all put the phones down, turn off the TV and maybe just sit on the porch again and get to know neighbors……..
But the troubling question: Do we really know anyone?

WFAA reports:
WEST - Bryce Reed, a volunteer EMS worker who frequently talked with the media during the aftermath of the West explosion, was detained and faces a charge of possession of a destructive device.
Reed served as a volunteer EMS worker for West and was placed on leave after the explosion. He was arrested Thursday morning and is being held at the McLennan County Jail.
Sources familiar with the case said Reed was in possession of possible bomb making materials. He is scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate judge at 10:15 a.m. in Waco.
At this point, agents do not believe there is a connection to the fatal fertilizer plant explosion that occurred on April 17 in West.
The least we can say is this news is as least 'weird'

No danger in the immediate to the astronauts on the station, so sayseth the news sources…
But the headline just seems creepy.
I am amazed by space and all that goes with it. When I was a kid, watching APOLLO 13 in theaters, I began to realize how scary it would be to have some tragic happen in space. Also during the movie, my friends and I got yelled at by others because of how many jokes we were making during the film.. It was MST3000 era film-viewing, after all.
Nonetheless, this story of the space station coolant problem just cannot be good. It would be if a truck was leaking it, or a car.. but a space station? No need to panic, I suppose.

Years ago, ‘psychic’ Sylvia Browne told Amanda Berry’s mother that her daughter was dead.. Berry has now been rescued from the torture house in Ohio. Berry’s mother died a year after Browne gave her ‘reading’ on the Montel Williams show.. Berry’s mom was only 44 and died of heart failure.. And now, Browne is being attacked across the web over the event..
I think that’s about all I am going to write about this situation..

The body of Boston Marathon bombings suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been entombed thanks to a “courageous and compassionate individual (who) came forward,” police in Worcester, Massachusetts, said today.
Police did not say where the body was entombed, but did say that the body was “no longer in the city of Worcester.” The city’s police chief “thanks the community that provided the burial site.” police said in a statement.

A new study is linking Monsanto’s Roundup weed killer with major effects on the human body..
Monsanto is calling the study bogus and bad science. But hell, what else but that could they say??
Here is the science of it, as reported by NATIONOFCHANGE.ORG:
Glyphosate impairs the cytochrome P450 (CYP) gene pathway, which creates enzymes that help to form and also break down molecules in cells. There are myriad important CYP enzymes, including aromatase (the enzyme that converts androgen into estrogen) and 21-Hydroxylase, which creates cortisol (stress hormone) and aldosterone (regulates blood pressure). One function of these CYP enzymes is also to detoxify xenobiotics, which are foreign chemicals like drugs, carcinogens or pesticides. Glyphosate inhibits these CYP enzymes, which has rippling effects throughout our body.
Interestingly, though, Monsanto isn’t the sole company that has the rights to use glyphosate .. They did create it, but their patent on it expired in 2010. To maybe it’s unfair to blame them solely if glyphosate truly does have these effects on human beings—at least post 2010.
However, Roundup is a big seller worldwide..
It’s fast action.
It kills weeds and roots.
And it has a beautiful color that looks very friendly to nature.
This story suggests the ingredient glyphosate is quite the opposite of healthy and wholesome..

And last night, finally, the story even made it to NBC NIGHTLY NEWS with Brian Williams. Of course not once did the NBC report mention Monsanto’s Roundup as a potential culprit.
What is clear though is that we are heading for a possible disaster.
It’s an important story. And one where you can actually learn a lot from a movie, such as the scene from THE HAPPENING when Marky Mark explains the bee die off to a school classroom. Oh, and that was in 2008, so clearly Colony Collapse has been around and escalating for years, but finally now being paid attention to by major media..

I love how the Associated Press reported the impending Cicada-geddon:

Yesterday in Ohio, police were able to find three different girls who were abducted separately but ended up at the same home … They were found alive..
It all began with a frantic woman screaming at the door of Charles Ramsay.
Then a 911 call.
Then they were safe…and families were elated.
Good news, good news.
But, the media is the media.. so Charles Ramsay, the man who helped them get safe and be safe in this situation, is now being mocked for his actions. Breitbart.com says he is the next YouTube sensation. His quotes are priceless:

I love puns.. People who write them are pretty witty.
I always wanted to come up with a great pun.. something that could catch on.. I’ve tried.. And finally, I think I came up with one. The problem is, the news event didn’t quite happen yet. But it could.
I was reading some reviews and predictions for the GREAT GATSBY remake.. predictions that it will flop at box offices.. (MORE HERE ON THAT)
So I would like to officially create a pre-pun for the eventual bad box office numbers that GATSBY with garner: THE GREAT COLLAPSY. Do you like it? Is it ‘pun worthy’? Will Drudge steal it? Maybe the DAILY MAIL?

I guess it is time to end any further speculation that I will return to the air anytime soon. I have given (2) very solid offers a lot of thought and have turned them down. My reasons are many, though I am profoundly sad at the current state of the show, both offers would have been direct competition with Coast and anger is the wrong reason to proceed. Also I really do not want to destroy what I built despite it’s current state. Asia will be in first grade in the Fall and getting up very early, I would be up late and sleeping late, I would not see much of her or Airyn. Life is short and I want to spend what I have left with my Family. I hope my friends understand…
