My local fishwrapper actually informed me of something

I didn’t pay much attention to world events yesterday, so when I actually read the pages of my local newspaper today, I was informed of something monumentally big that I don’t think too many news networks even covered: A shallow 6.1 earthquake in China has killed almost 400.. 1800 injured.. 12,000 homes have been destroyed. 

And now, as though God didn’t do enough, torrential rains are slowing down relief efforts, and probably creating a soggy hell on earth for all hit by the earth event..

The biggest impact was in the city of Zhaotong .. Roads and bridges are out.. the military has been sent in.. As more people are being pulled from rubble, it’s expected to have an increased injury and death toll.. once the rains allow rescue workers to get to them, that is..

Until then.. dramatic photos are being taken and published for the world to see.. The one that most affected me was a Chinese soldier rushing a baby to safety.. But how many innocent others are gone..?

A creepy scene in China.. A river has mysteriously turned blood red.  While some may scream ‘end of the world’ at the sight of the bloody river, let’s also note: There is a strange smell reportedly wafting through the air as well, hinting to me that something extremely dangerous has entered the water.. Pollution? Chemicals? Or just food coloring? 

This from ABC NEWS:

“We suspect that somebody dumped artificial coloring in the water because he thought the typhoon yesterday would cause heavy rain, and nobody would notice [the color],” Jianfeng Xiao, Chief of the bureau told China News.

“It turned out there wasn’t heavy rainfall yesterday, so the evidence is left behind,” Xiao said.

Xiao said there is a paper manufacturer, a food coloring company and clothing-maker a long the river. The bureau is still investigating the incident.

Either way, now’s the perfect time to film a horror movie scene if you’re in the Zhejiang province.. 

Creepy stuff if real (But is anything real these days?)

A tourist in China claims to have snapped this photo of a weird “Gollum” type creature among the rocks North of Beijing.. It’s not determined if he was searching for his precious, but we know the tourist came close to the ”monster” when he went to find a spot to urinate. There are rumors of the rumors, though: One online comment apparently professed to have inside knowledge.. someone wrote that he and his friends went to the woods to make a sci-fi film. While doing so, someone who was urinating snapped his photo.

This is just completely, all around, weird.

Still not known if it’s flight 370.. SO many false leads now I have no confidence that this is.

It could be the pinging of the underwater UFO base that we just know is there..

Or as a friend told me, China found the ping since they know right where they or North Korea shot the plane down at ..

Michelle Obama is being praised for a great speech on press freedoms in China. However, it’s ironic that the press is pretty much not allowed access to covering her on her trip to China. 

I’m sure they will be permitted to photograph her lettuce at the White House vegetable garden. You know, all the important stuff..

Hell and horror in North Korea

This is the state of horror in the world—the real kind.. 

There is testimony from behind the cell walls of prison camps in North Korea. CNN reports this:

"A North Korean prison camp survivor told of a pregnant woman in a condition of near-starvation who gave birth to a baby — a new life born against all odds in a grim camp. A security agent heard the baby’s cries and beat the mother as a punishment. She begged him to let her keep the baby, but he kept beating her. With shaking hands, the mother was forced to pick up her newborn and put the baby face down in water until the cries stopped and a water bubble formed from the newborn’s mouth." 

Beyond disgusting..beyond horrific.

This is real…  

The crimes being committed against humanity are dreadful and continuous..

It was dead pigs first.. Now ducks..

Anyone getting the idea than something else is happening. Such as 1) pollution from an unregulated industry or 2) our testing of some type of bio weapons?

This story creeps me out not because of the mysterious deaths of animals but because we know the Chinese government will not be honest with what is causing the problem..

Watch for more animals. Something tells me it’s not going to stop with ducks, just as it didn’t with pigs..
