This Iselle.. it’s currently a hurricane churning the Pacific Ocean.. it is expected to impact all of the Hawaiian islands later this week—precautions are being made and actions are being taken now .. residents are preparing..

Hopefully forecasters are right at the storm will be downgraded to a tropical storm or even less.. but if that happens, it won’t cut down the rain that is expected to fall..

Any fluctuation with the storm, and different models take hold. A potential hit on the big island can still happen..

Hope this doesn’t kill any Fourth of July parties..

While no end of the world scenario is probable for the holiday, this bears watching throughout the week. It could be Arthur.. and it may strike parts of the United States coast line come Independence Day..

Here is the storm that may be, now:

'Life-Threatening' Flooding Submerges Pensacola, Florida, as the killer nationwide storm continues to roll

Wednesday night hell in the city as more than 2 feet in 26 hours fell..

2 feet of water in a day.. that is unbelievable and amazing — and obviously become a disaster situation.

For this city and area being hit with this massive nationwide killer storm, this water drop may have been worse than hurricanes slamming this part of Florida..

It’s the worst flooding in 30 years.
A state of emergency has been declared..

And the storm is not over yet. The threat today is for disaster and death along the East Coast, especially the I-95 Corridor..

THIS is an amazing image..It comes from NASA and you care see, if you squint, Great Britain underneath a giant comma shaped Atlantic cyclone.

It was taken February 12.. and it’s one of those many storms bringing hell on earth to Great Britain, including massive winds and flooding rains.. Read more here..

And more on the weather striking: It has become the biggest rescue mission since the Blitz! 80MPH winds, heavy snow, and flooding rains.. And now pile line failures are igniting fires! This is the ongoing disaster facing the United Kingdom.. What amazes me most about this DAILY MAIL article is the variety of disaster photos.. whether it’s flooding or snow, fire or wind.. all are happening now across the pond as David Cameron tries to stay in charge of a fleeting moment in climate time.

Some NFL games in direct path of tornado potential

AP reporting:

The National Weather Service confirmed tornados have touched down in several Illinois communities by early afternoon. Meanwhile in Chicago, fans at Soldier Field watching the Chicago Bears host the Baltimore Ravens were cleared from the stands and players and coaches left the field around 12:30 p.m. as wind and rain moved in.

For a time last week, a storm that hit the United States actually spanned the entire Atlantic Ocean.. that’s incredible.

AND ANOTHER STORM!

AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM! AND ANOTHER STORM!

What am I talking about?

The Northeast.. my home base of Pennsylvania.. And Pennsyltucky, too. A Facebook page I follow (which has been quite accurate this year) is  Weatherboy Weather.. Tonight on the page, the weatherboy writes,

If you’re not a fan of wintry weather, you’re not going to like this…

Mid and long range models show more winter weather is on the way for the Mid Atlantic and Northeast, with another threat of accumulating snow likely early next week. There does not appear to be any significant warm-up for the balance of the month. In this region, you’ll need to wait longer for milder spring weather to arrive.

I almost had to laugh when I saw it.. I almost had to … cringe when I thought about it.

I checked some other weather sources and actually checked some other weather models on my own that I had bookmarked, and .. yes.. there is a storm  on the map. It would be wintry. And this is the winter that never ends..

How depressing.. Not being able to see your car in winter is similar to not able to see your feet after a big dinner. The digging out occurring now….in very windy conditions.

Tornado alley .. Polish version. You don't hear of these storms often hitting UK nations..

But today a tragic situation unfolded ..

A freak wave of tornadoes slammed in part of Poland today.. houses are wrecked, people are shocked, and tonight at least one is dead in the nation.

This summer has already given Poland and other European nations hail, flash floods, and heavy winds. And now quite powerful tornadoes have struck..

This can happen in this nation and other UK countries, but it rarely does. And when it does it is seldom as powerful as the storms that hit Sunday..

Here is a video of some tornado events:

This seems to be a slow motion unfolding disaster in the Mid Atlantic.. heat and no electricity, no lights in sight and no end of the heat coming either

5 million without power originally. Now it’s 2 million.

But put it into perspective: After Hurricane Katrina, the most without power was 3 million…

Power companies hope to have at least 90% restored by FRIDAY this week..

Of course there will be more heat and more storms throughout…

Absolutely unbelievable images of the deadly derecho--the hurricane on land..

Absolutely unbelievable images of the deadly derecho--the hurricane on land..

Really strong storms have caused deaths and the loss of power for millions.

More strong lines of storms are forming today and will hit in many of the same areas that were hit yesterday.
More on that from Accuweather.

Which is why the photo for this post of a snapshot of a page from Frank Miller’s BATMAN comic book compilation (I have the leatherbound edition safety stored away) .. in that comic,  a massive heat wave hit Gotham City. I feel like I am in that comic now.. with the absense of course of Batman, the Joker, and the Mutant Gang.

I wonder if, in Frank Miller’s world, David Endochrine is funny anymore? He sure ain’t in the real world.

This is an amazing image.. There were some pretty rough storms in Coal Country and other areas throughout the night last night. And today data shows that there were over 40,000 lightning strikes from the storms..

A tropical storm has already formed off of the East Coast

The weather outside indeed will be frightful..

So are YOU ready for months worth of scary tornadoes, hurricanes, winds, and rain? … I don’t think I am.

A follower of mine, NotEntirely, (and you should follow the site) said:

weather’s been weird lately out here, looked a lot like this for the last two days.

A few Twitter followers have also updated me on their fears of this season.

Is it just something we are feeling? Because I am feeling it. I am not weather vane or predictor  or prognosticator, and the wonderful folks at the National Hurricane Center, Accuweather, and the Weather Channel would mop the floor with me on my weather knowledge.. But something deep down just makes me think this year will be one we will want to remember but will not be able to. Hope I’m wrong. Maybe I am. But if I’m not, as always, better safe than sorry. Prepare for the worst, expect the best. The reality is somewhere in the middle.

Hail.. tornado watches.. heavy rain. It's all here

The heavy storms have moved east.. here in the deep and dark abandoned coal region of Pennsylvania, heavy hail is pounding roofs, sidewalks, and car windows.. Tornado watches sounding.. heavy rain falling..

There is something going on. The weather is intense. These storms, as they has moved through the nation, has brought pure and utter hell to whoever was hit.. And it is no different today and will be no different tomorrow.

I can’t imagine an entire summer of this. And I certainly never thought it would be an entire spring.. But since Tuscaloosa when so much damage started, it just seemed to never stop…

I write this as the sky turns black yet once again..

Something strange in the air

Tremendous storms have rocked the nation from coast to coast over the past several days.. There is a strange feeling in the air, too. Something very heavy, very humid.. very intense.. And almost very unstable. It seems that you can almost feel the conditions as they develop.. uneasy atmosphere above, storms descending to the ground below.. Texas saw tornadoes on top of wild fires.. An entire town in Arkansas gone.. St. Louis still recovering from their airport damage.. And now the storms rolling into the Ohio Valley and the I95 Corridor in coming hours and days.. The wild rocky weather will end.. But not before a record setting April occurs—with a record for tornadoes being more than likely..
