Another year, another fireball: Russia’s skies lit up again as a massive ball of light soars.. A side note: When I watched this fireball light the sky up on the dash cam video posted from Russia, it reminded me almost exactly of what I saw over my own home base in Pennsylvania a few days back.. Something is falling. Hopefully the pink stars stay up..
And as we watch the dash cam over Russia picking up the big ball of light, read this: NASA is pretty much saying a city-destroying asteroid NOT hitting earth at this point is simply a case of blind luck.. I constantly wonder if the powers that sorta-be are always trying to prep us for the big one. The ender.. the game changer.. the burst of light through a night sky that will shake us to the core and shake our buildings to the floor…

But this may be big coming tomorrow: Easter Eggs are going to be flowing as the Bryan Singer accuser, Michael Egan III, will apparently be filing MORE Hollywood sex lawsuits Monday.. Other Hollywood ‘insiders’ will be sued as a statute of limitations date looms Thursday.. The Hollywood sign may be rocked by scandal..
By now the eggs are dyed and dried.. the bunnies are sleeping.. the candy wrappers are littering the floors. Easter is over, “he has risen” they say.. but risen from where and to what? Did Christ walk the earth? And if so, was he the son of man? Or a legend.. a myth.. a man? Is Easter is another pagan treat for the retreaters? Nothing rebellious about a religious holiday that took the rhymes of the reason and turned them Christian.. It worked for the rest, why not for the best.

So we’re told this is Nessie, the famed and supposedly real Loch Ness Monster in Scotland.. The figure has been revealed using Apple’s satellite map app.. Nessie believers are using the photo as ‘evidence’ that their famed creature is real..
I have really never subscribed to this idea of the real monster, as I always found it to be the dullest of all paranormal pop culture and lure. I believe there are lots of animals yet to be discovered on earth, but just have not ever been enthusiastic about the monster.
I can only conclude this: If the Apple system is so successful at finding monsters that probably don’t exist, why aren’t we using it find Flight 370!?

A few months ago, the guy who rescued his X-BOX from a house fire got attention. This obviously blows that out of the water for all the wrong reasons. After he killed his own son, he then played games and watched FRINGE for five hours afterwards..
This meaningless man deserves all the punishment he can get.. I have no forgiveness at all for crimes against children, especially those based off of such a decadent reason..

The home parties often have hundreds of guests … the young guys along with a number of Hollywood heavyweights, including major agents, movie and TV producers and directors and big names in music.
We’re told there are plenty of private places for people to go … but sometimes things happen out in the open.
Toward the end of the evening, a select few are invited to an after-party, and that’s where things often swing out of control. We’re told the parties often have drugs and alcohol readily available and it’s very clear … sex is the end game.

Friday night lights
Last night my wife and I went out with a friend.. we went to see people we know perform at the Hollywood Casino in Grantville. The band is Sapphire. They are great. You should check them out. It was a great time.. but as someone who doesn’t go out too much these days, I was left with perplexing questions:
1) Why are older males who are single wearing sweaters at casinos ? And why do they have a creepy look and wink at older women who are dancing (and dancing in very inappropriate ways for their age at that)? Seriously, this guy made me want to instantly report him to police, somewhere. I bet there’s at least three bodies along the I-81 corridor that he knows all about..
2) Are people ballroom dancing everywhere now? Seriously.. this man who looked a little like a cross between my own brother an the character HAROLD from THE STAND was rocking his ballroom skills on the casino dance floor.. He was with a woman, but at times she just stood back when his feet caught on fire.. he did some weird move where he gyrated his hips and thrust his pelvis towards her while he was motioning his hair back and then, out of no where, would start twisting her around. All that set to the songs from the 1980s including KISS ME DEADLY. Not sure I can hear anything again without thinking of his slender and odd body motioning through the crowd — obviously trying to get more attention than the main attraction..
3) Food shouldn’t be served unless it’s actual food. I got chicken tenders. Or something. I think they were meat—but not quite sure they were the meat of a chicken.
My observations are based off of being a dad and typically staying in Friday and Saturday late nights.
Although with a successful sleep process that our awesome babysitter had with our son, maybe we can get out there more. But probably not to any hopeless and smoke-filled gambling hall of a casino for a bit..
I need to brush up on my dance skills. Since I’m married, I won’t need the tight sweater.

Egads Egan! It's XXX-MEN
Update: Michael Egan, Bryan Singer’s accuser, alleges a number of rapes by Hollywood moguls..
Egan said the FBI and police were made aware of the allegations in 2000, but nothing came from those cases.. and something similar to what Corey Feldman has been saying for years: Allegations are being made in this case that Egan and other minors were ‘passed around like pieces of meat’ at the supposed sex orgies..
For now: Singer and his lawyers are doing what they can to besmirch the person accusing.. this is something that undoubtedly is going to play out big time in the media. .
The other monetary question: What does FOX do now about the release of X-MEN? It’s release date is next month.. And FOX is left scrambling and Singer has skipped this weekend’s WonderCon Fanfest.. the joke already is being made: X-MEN 2 should be renamed XXX-MEN ..
Fanboys and fanmen are already debating the movie release—and the Singer allegations. Just look at how heated the comments thread is becoming on AINT IT COOL..

Police did not offer more information about the death.

A child in Lincoln Nebraska is safe after crawling into a toy vending machine.
KETV reports,
Lincoln police said it started with a mom frantically searching for her 3-year-old boy at her apartment around 5:30 p.m. She called police immediately.
Across the street, patrons at a nearby bowling alley made the startling discovery — a little boy sitting with stuffed animals inside the machine.
Employees called the vendor, who quickly arrived and opened the machine to let the boy out.
Police investigating the missing child report nearby were flagged down by a patron, who told officers about the boy.
Soon after, the mother was reunited with the child, who is doing fine. The vendor even gave the boy a stuffed animal from the machine.
Police said the mother was not cited because she contacted police as soon as she realized her son was missing.

I pray every day, or at least try, for a sign that something else exists. Maybe that’s the wrong type of prayer to offer..

A really weird ghost..
Ghost hunters have descended no a hotel in New Jersey to hunt a serial foot fetish enthused ghost.. According to Jersey papers, the Hotel Somerset has a ghostly culprit messing with shoes and tickling the feet of residents.. One of the people complaining about the spirit with the weird habits is a 67-year-old Vietnam vet who suffers from PTSD..

A girlfriend of a passenger, Sarah Bajc, on board the missing Flight 370 believes that the passengers are still alive.. The video was from about 5 days back on CNN.. it’s compelling.
There’s a newer video: Bacj continues to say that she believes Flight 370 was taken.. Bajc says the families still have the general perception that this plane did not crash.
Either it’s dramatically awful sadness and grief, and an unrealistic false positive view about the death of 200+ passengers.. or this: The reason why a plane or wreckage or pings have not been found is because there is nothing to find.. Nothing crashed.
We also know this: No major breakthroughs at this time in the search.. And those pings??? Get this: We are being told in newest reports that the signals being picked up are not related to the missing flight 370..
So… what are those pings from then?
But at the same time there are news reports saying the latest pings have nothing to do with the missing plane, we have this: Australia’s Prime Minister is ‘confident’ that the signals are from the black box!
If you’re not confused yet, you should be.. from the minutes after the flight ‘vanished’ until now, the stories have changed and almost 0% of what governments in Asia revealed was true.. even the last words of the pilot were not what we were originally told.
I still distinctly recall those stories immediately after from FAMILIES (not governments) that cell phones of the presumed dead were still ringing and some were still showing up on Chinese social networks..

Waking to quaking..
There is fear over a Washington style landslide in Wyoming (just South of Yellowstone no less) .. Jackson Wyoming Council has declared a state of emergency and adopted a disaster declaration due to concerns that a hill could collapse into the city.. According to an incident command official: The ground is moving, not on the surface, but 40 to 50 feet down.. And don’t forget this: Yellowstone is still a little shaky, as the reported yesterday..
Some weird booms and noises were heard along the West Coast, sparking fears of a quake. Experts are now saying, though, that the mysterious rumbling in Orange County California was not a quake. Instead it was a supersonic Navy flight.. They say. But what is unsaid: There is a huge amount of fear right now in California that a long overdue quake can happen soon..

What happens in Vegas doesn’t just stay in Vegas.. Normally people only throw shows at bad comedians or Elvis acts.. This go around it was Hillary Clinton..
The video is actually a little scary to see …
I actually think she handled this with humor and class—it had to be frightening but it also was amazing to see her calm and cool reaction.
I know it’s lame to compare everything to something that may lead to political gain, but this is an incident that may help her..
BUT..it may also force her to ask the question: Do I really want to be president this much that I will now have shoes thrown at me?
It reminded me of the Bush shoe incident. He, too, dodged the shoes with the skill of a high school dodge ball player.
Maybe political science classes should start including the artful dodge as a course study..

24 injured in knife attack at Franklin Regional High School
The final update today on this exhausting and depressing story..
24 now have been hurt.. No one is dead—no one is dead!
There are even selfies making news tonight as one survivor took a snapshot of himself in the aftermath in the hospital..
We also know this: The suspect, Alex Hribal, a 16-year-old sophomore, was taken into custody after being wrestled to the floor of a school hallway and disarmed by a security guard and a school administrator.. And he is being charged as an adult.
We are being told by some tonight that Hribal was ‘not well liked.’
More heroism.. more acts of bravery..
There are also stories of students helping other students pressing down on wounds to cut the bleeding, begging others who were stabbed to hold on to life..
Again.. bravery.
And finally.. A Wikipedia page has already been created..

Comb me over and spit me out
I had a remarkably thought provoking conversation today with a very nice young girl who cut my hair—at 33 I can call people in their 20s nice and young now. Precious..
Nonetheless, we talked about empty malls and how to improve them.. we talked about customer service and how difficult it is these days to have it.
And finally.. I brought up a question that has been eating away at me for years: What does a stylist do when they are cutting a man’s hair—a man who uses the famed combover.
I was surprised with the interesting answer..
First off, she said, they really don’t teach how to perform a combover cut in school.. as matter of fact, she told me that the worst hair to cut is a man in my bracket.. someone who is slightly balding and yet has enough to not shave it.. someone who still is young enough to style it.. and someone who has short hair already. She said cutting a full-length haired woman is easier because there’s more to work with if you mess it …
So already a man is more difficult.
But the comb over? How can anything be harder..
She said the first thing she does is analyze the situation. If the comb over is applied to the hair, it means he wants to keep it. So she works around it, cutting some layers and trimming the side, but leaving the foot long piece in tact in order for the gent to comb his hair over his bald head again.
Even more: The man doesn’t say anything of the comb over. He allows the stylist to see it for herself.. to know it.. to love it, caress it, or whatever one would do with an awful comb over.
And finally, my friendly stylist told me that she always has the urge to cut the comb over altogether …of course there’d be awful repercussions should such a travesty occur to the already cursed man’s head.
Although he may look instantly better…But he’s damned to shame forever as long as he combs hair across his scalp..
