This is my original artwork.. it’s my nostalgic Christmas postcard to you.

The scene I drew in this picture, several years ago actually, is gone now. It is of the former St. Ignatius Church in Centralia, PA, a place I attended Christmas midnight mass for several years when my life began. The road signs are indicating that a highway was closed, most likely because of the Christmas blanket of snow causing mine fire fumes to overtake the highway.. The footsteps? Could be mine walking around .. could be my father, as he was the caretaker of the property for 20 years..

But it’s all gone now.
So often, we are greeted yearly with cards of this nature–places that are now gone or changed for good.

My Christmas memories hold this scene in high esteem.
They always will.
Times were simpler then–even though my hometown was being bulldozed over and people were being forced out. Still simple.
A quiet blanket of snow..
This year, 2015, it’s about 60 or so degrees outside of my house.
This scene is a memory.
As is the town and all buildings that were in it.

Tonight, as the moon rose and the sun set, a fireball flew through the early evening sky.. My artistic interpretation..

Today’s daily doodle.. a puffy and ply Ted Cruz. I don’t think America is ready for his jelly. His politics are to Cruzilicious for us baby.

My son has a long lasting cold .. At his request, here’s a chalkboard rendition of me being struck in my face by his sneeze.

My first daily doodle of the year, and hopefully the first of many. I sort of slacked last year on this category…

This is a dramatic artistic representation of my New Year’s eve. I spent two hours at the Hershey casino, while it was a good time, I saw scenes, people, and mullets with the biggest business in the front I have ever witnessed.

Casinos are an eclectic group of people, all walks of life just thrust together in a daze. Oxygen tanks, mindlessness, and people swollen with frowns as their money goes around…

I should really write about this in more detail one day, but I certainly do not want to besmirch the character or nature of people who go to casinos for fun. After all, if you’re a fun person the fun will follow you. It seems too often though it casinos, there was no fun to begin with but the manufactured sounds of coins jingling and music playing.

That doesn’t take away from watching a really good band and counting down to New Year’s, but seeing the hundreds of people joining me at midnight was either a sight for sore eyes, or comedic relief to a terrible year in this world.

My sons sidewalk chalk request: A three armed zombie, or as he calls it a ‘Jombie,’ being chased by a happy sun. I did my best.

Today’s MY DAILY DOODLE, yet again inspired by my fictious town of Bellicose Junction and its sordid residents. Today, Lars Nelson shows off his stimulator. A Mary Todd Lincoln blowup doll awaits him in the background..

Read more on the BELLICOSE JUNCTION blog, should you dare

Remember, it’s all fake.

Right????

My Daily Doodle.

You’re looking at Poppy Largent and Desmond Tata. They just had a big celebration of global warming in Bellicose Junction.

Bellicose Junction is a fictional town that existed in the mind of me and a few friends for over a decade. And it also, most likely, is in your psyche too.. a town or imbeciles and rejects, with no purpose or direction, aimlessly walking through live polluting every step of their path.

Oh, and eating lots and lots of LLAMA meat.

I penned up a quick daily doodle for a friend of mine, however that will remain private and is not meant for public disclosure.

Afterwards, out if ideas, I asked my son Ayden to give me a subject to draw for my public daily doodle. He responded that he wanted me to draw him in the scene he was in, eating a strawberry Pop tarts and watching Scooby Doo on an iPad.

I did, but he did not approve, saying “my hair should be flat”…

Three years old and already self-conscious about messy hair…

My Daily Doodle.. inspired by Ayden.

This is the Purple Nurple, and the Green Spleen. They are imaginary creatures that live in the corners of our house that come to Ayden before he goes to bed.

Introduced at bed time tonight: The Brown Frown.

Today’s daily doodle was done before the Brown Frown showed up..

Your doodle looks like a corpse tree boner

This is the content of a message sent to me tonight from a friend who glanced at my DAILY DOODLE today. I suppose there was some phallic imagery there.. In the eye of the beholder, perhaps..
