Nineteen-year-old Satanist Miranda Barbour said she and her 22-year-old husband killed a man in Port Treverton, PA in a sadistic way..
She also just gave an interview to the local newspaper, the DAILY ITEM, that quotes her commenting that she killed 22 people across the country so far in a Satanist romp..
She told the paper she can pinpoint them on a map and ‘stopped counting’ after 22 deaths..
According to the paper, the FBI has been inquiring into the case, giving some more credibility to her claims of multiple killings..
The story is also making national attention due to her claims of multiple killings— and it is another example of why you should be very careful on Craigslist..

For anyone in the white shaded area—you know, the folks who have feet of snow on the ground—this is a scary image. It’s another ‘little’ storm coming for Monday into Tuesday.. Shovels and plows need to get ready one more time.

Tonight we took Ayden to get his favorite food: Pizza.. While there, the owner sent out his two kids to play with their Ninja Turtles with our son.. It was great. And it was a pure child bonding moment, giving mom and dad time to eat.
At one point, Ayden announced: “Watch this.” We all thought he was going to do some amazing thing with the Ninja Turtle toys, or perhaps recite something he memorized from his literature (for a three year old) ..Instead he proceeded to go to the muddy and slushy part of the hard tile floor of the restaurant, and he did a spot on tumble-set—quickly getting up saying he hurt his head.
That’s our boy.
So the big storm this week.. and another snowstorm happening today. There is a certainly part of me, each time I look out the window and hardly see the road in front of me due to giant snow piles, that I feel a little more like Jack Torrance from the SHINING.. Sure, I’m not living in a big vacant hotel .. And I don’t have spirits serving me drinks yet. But my God.. the insanity of being homebound .. the mind numbing winter that keeps you stuck in four walls.. I LOVE getting outside to shovel at this point. That’s just how crazy it is feeling..

It really gives me pause to see the images from Indonesia where this volcano has blown.. This is the most populous island, according to the AP. There are innocent people stuck in the cross hairs of a truly mean planet earth..

I may not have been a blizzard, but my God there is a lot of snow.. And even the lack of the ‘term’ blizzard being given to a storm does not take severity away—especially those special moments, around midnight, when you are trying to shovel to prepare for the next today. And while you shovel, the wind whips your face with new fallen snow and the drifting begins on the paths you tried to clear.. Yes, that is really what winter is all about. It makes me chuckle to see the Sochi Olympics are experiencing record warmth this year. They should have picked somewhere in the Northeast and they would have been fine..
The snow is ending just in time for millions of spectators in life to celebrate commercialism at its best: Valentine’s Day. No modern holiday comes without its share of mystery and occult, though. If children are terminal ill and are suffering every single day, then why would we have the right to let them suffer until they die a painful death? When in fact, we can give them a peaceful and painless death so the child and the parents don't have to suffer no longer. Belgium is a very rational country with mostly atheists, you are American so I get why you have problems with it.
But this goes to the overall question of assisted suicide in general.. not only for children, but for adults.
Medicine seems to have two functions right now. On one hand it’s trying to help relieve pain and help people survive (which is why opposition to medicinal pot is inane) and on the other hand it is trying to enforce a culture in which we need to decide when people die. When their time is up.. when no more miracles can happen.
I don’t know what to say about children in immense pain and suffering, nor about adults. It is a sad fact that happens every day—and yes, many of them want to die and I don’t doubt that many of them purposely die at their own hands. As I understand it, we would have people able to assist them in killing themselves.
I don’t know, also, what safeguards would put in effect that we don’t start killing off those who are, perhaps, societal rejects. Not that we ever did that before, humans have always been extremely kind to each other without violence or eugenics. Sarcasm bolded..
This is a tough subject for me, to be honest.. It’s a deep and difficult question: When should a suffering person be permitted, legally, to have help in ending their lives? When should their terminal illnesses be over.
And really, it goes far beyond medical and religious.. it delves into the spiritual. I read an interesting article by someone who said that suffering in the here and now is just a part of the never-ending reincarnated spirit that needs endure physical and emotional pain. I don’t know if I agree with that statement, but it shows that there are more than enough different opinions which can be expressed in this issue.
I also wonder this: What if a medical advancement occurs but since it’s cheaper to allow a child to die, we opt for the death over the procedure? I know, I know, a little less likely but .. a question I ponder.
Read this section from a report on the Belgium issue:

"Can you tell me what a ‘state of discernment’ means?" asked Becq.
Does near death mean “three days, three weeks, six months?” asked Steven Vanackere, another Christian Democrat.
I am undecided over the morality .. I am also unprepared as a human to see human suffering at such unfair levels—especially when suffering children bring so much doubt that a God even exists..
But I say this: Is it a medical advancement to find cures and new treatment for disease to relieve suffering, or is it in fact advancing society to just ‘end it’ and give up? That’s a big, big question. And when you boil it down to an individual suffering, it may not matter a hill of beans. For the long term, though, it’s a truly moral issue that society will be grappling with.

I’d add in the ole ‘slippery slope’ argument..
I’d also say, if you’re for assisted suicide for adults, how do you make a distinction based on age?
There are so many moral implications and question.. so many reasons to argue.. And so many sick children …
On that note, if you’re for assisted suicide for children, what limit would you impose.. only sick? or sick and tired..
So many issues and so many problems with this.

These are three telling headlines in today’s POTTSVILLE REPUBLICAN AND HERALD.. A factory closing, a school having issues, and yet another store in the Frackville Schuylkill Mall shutting doors..
There was an old adage about the coal region of Pennsylvania: There’s a church and bar on every street corner. These days the churches have shuddered and even some bars too—it’s the bars closing that may bring pause…
A major hospital with 100+ years of history in Ashland Pennsylvania is now an empty vessel. The silhouette at night of the empty structure is a frightening sight..
Schools have closed and merged, leaving buildings to become dilapidated. This year, an old Catholic School Immaculate Heart in Girardville was taken down after days of heavy machinery chipping away at the heart of the building..
The people of the coal region, though often mocked for poor grammar, are good people. This was a good area.. But it’s fast becoming a land of no return, a place where no industry thrives.. A place where malls teeter on the brink of closure, where schools struggle not with grades but with meth and bath salts.. Where police dismantle their oath to protect and serve and instead sever ties with morality. This is an area where coal mines are abandoned, housing histories of millionaires.. but those millionaires’ homes just waste away into desolation.
There was once a close knit society in the region. When I grew up, things weren’t perfect, but they were fine. There were businesses, factories, churches, restaurants. Now there’s not. There’s little here.. There’s so little.
Are there still good people? Amazingly people.
Does the area still have a chance? That is a tougher question.
I have long believed that every town in the coal region could be the next Jim Thorpe. It could happen.. but it would take a lot.
And with industry constantly leaving, and more ‘things’ constantly closing, that is becoming a much harder prospect to fathom..
Right now, February 13, 2014, there’s a monster snowstorm hitting the coal region and other states along the East Coast.. The snow is covering the pollution and litter, the pothole filled roads, and the empty buildings. But when it melts, it will all be there again.
I am beginning to feel, strongly, that the coal region is not the place to raise my three-year-old son. He will not be growing up in the same place I was ..
That close knit society is losing thread.
The empty buildings have nothing to offer.
A vacant hospital two miles away can’t help.
And a mall without stores is the loneliest place in the world.
What is best.. trying to create a better place to live, or realizing that things are far beyond repair and going somewhere that is already a decent place to be?
That is the question..
And over the next year or two my wife and I will be debating that question..

The channel went away and we began negotiations with Sirius/XM to come back on a different channel. Art then popped up..and as you know…quit within a blink of an eye. Our negotiations with Sirius/XM settled with them offering 104 to us and they even paid US to be on. We of course grabbed the offer.
Nothing sinister.. Wells parted ways amicably. And George Noory will be chatting monthly until 2021.

Some have long believed that water is moving freely on the red planet.. They may have been right.

Bagans purchased the house last month, and obvious from his tweet concerning the upcoming episode, has made it the subject of the first show.
Last week, the HORROR REPORT reported that the priest involved with the alleged exorcisms, Michael Maginot, signed a movie deal to bring the story to the big screen .. It helped bring my first doubts of the Ammons story. While she has yet to receive any payments for her story—that we are aware of—the fact others involved are gaining access to fame and fortune gives me pause…
I’ll be watching.. And wondering if the demonic activity will be present in the initial episode …

There are constantly earthquakes in California. Under the feet of Californians. And Hollywood.
But what secured my attention in this article was the statement by Anthony Guarino, a seismologist at Caltech. The LA TIMES reports on the obvious, but yet eye opening nonetheless:
The region remains overdue for a massive quake. The southern section of the San Andreas Fault, which starts near the Salton Sea and runs north to Palmdale, has historically caused a large earthquake every 150 years on average. It has not ruptured since 1680.
“There is a very high probability that it will rupture in our lifetime or our children’s lifetime,” Guarino said.
“We use these small quakes as a reminder: You need to be prepared with a week’s worth of food and water and have a plan of action,” he said. “Don’t run outside, don’t get in the doorway. Drop, cover and hold on to something.”
There are so many things we are never prepared for.

And the prospects that one day, during our lifetime or that of our kids, the Hollywood sign may fall down a mountain due to a seismic shift, is pretty downright scary.
There’s little we can do to prepare for such an event when we have built our lives, and nuclear plants, on the fault lines of the planet.
It’s just bound to occur.
We hope not during our lifetimes.. But by hoping that, we curse our children to have to deal with the catastrophic nightmare themselves…

When you know your child is sick, it’s a tough time to sleep. When you don’t know you’re child is about to have food not agree with him and , at 3am when he asks to come in your bed, vomit all over your face and pillow? That’s a Pearl Harbor type attack.. One mothers and fathers cannot prepare for. No advanced warning.. no gurgles.. no hiccups. Just all out warfare on your bed sheets deep in the night.
But riddle me this, fellow parents or parents to be: Why do these things—and so many other occurrences—always seem to take place at the witching hour of 3am?

Flash away Meryl
This ruling from a federal judge is a big deal that affects everyone: Federal judge rules drivers allowed to flash headlights to warn of speed traps…
(And don’t tell me you never did it, although sometimes here in the woods and coal mines of Pennsylvania, you get flashed by others to warn you of a deer, or some sort of other animal or creature..)
The ACLU is commending the court and a victory for motorists..
Now.. we should address flashing lights in cars as a gang initiation. That was true, wasn’t it?

I get that Noory is probably the worst host of Coast that could have been chosen after Art Bell relinquished the throne of AM talk show phenom.. But Wells was particularly divisive, especially after Ian Punnett left Saturday nights with a history of weird topics as opposed to controversial.
I received lots of emails, especially on my other site HORROR REPORT, concerning Wells’ departure.. most were praising him and angry at Premiere Radio.
Interestingly enough, many Wells fans suddenly seem to have lots in common with Art Bell fans—maybe not politics but hatred of Premiere Radio over how they treated their favorite voice of the late night air waves..
My take on Wells: When he was good, he was ok.. when he was bad, he was horrible. However, he showed much improvement over the years since he began, and even began to accept some Coast to Coast AM subjects with open arms, such as aliens.. he even did the voiceovers for UNSEALED ALIEN FILES, the weird show you can find on your local TV networks late at night when you can’t sleep..
According to the COMMON SENSE report, and other numbers I saw, Coast on Saturdays with Wells was pulling in over a million people. And sometimes, even as Wells himself bragged, he was getting more listeners on a Saturday night than Noory would get all week put together.
And the most telling perhaps was an interview Wells gave immediately after he was notified of his termination. He admitted that he only talked to George Noory one time, and that it was for one minute. Nothing else since then..
Humility is not on display with L.A. Noory.
Perhaps instead, Noory wanted to displace any competition from within..
The chances of Wells’ success leading to him as a full time host may have been less than possible, especially with Wells’ propelling some away with his Alex Jones lite beliefs, such as wondering aloud of the Sandy Hook massacre was a conspiracy to take guns..But nonetheless, Coast to Coast with George Noory does not want to be known as the same show with John Wells. And that is exactly what it was becoming…
One interesting thing Wells has said..despite his apparent lack of in depth understanding of the paranormal, he has stated hinted that Premiere Radio wants to “own” the paranormal.. and in that sense water it down and present it in their terms, and not the terms that a once great Art Bell would have.. It’s an interesting concept. Wells may have picked up on the big picture..
He is now going on in life to host his own internet show called the CARAVAN TO MIDNIGHT. Sadly it will be on during the midday—and also sadly for him, his show has been marred with technical difficulties that has stopped him from broadcasting when he said he would. Some say Premiere conspired against him.. Some said the same for Art Bell when suddenly, out of no where, Sirius radio announced that Coast would take over Bell’s spot after his short stint on satellite..
Premiere and conservative radio is a big Juggernaut. Premiere may be happy with the lunatics and drunks that listen to Noory.. and maybe they were getting a little unsettled with the knowledgeable and questioning souls that tuned into Wells..
And Art Bell? Well..he plans on coming back in 2015 with his own online show. Maybe it won’t be a Caravan to Midnight.. but it’s always midnight in the desert…

This is a very interesting article. During the last few months, I have personally seen many more weather sites popping up on Facebook, many local people trying to be the expert in the area..
I still think however that many of them simply read the top sites, or read what other forecasters are saying about other models, and presented as their own information..

Mystery 'Plague' Hits Texas High School, 700 Students And Staff Members Affected With Violent Illness (VIDEO)
A mystery virus being referred to as ‘the plague’ continues to sweep through a Texas high school, having already infected over 700 students and staff members and causing them to become violently ill.
Officials are trying to figure out where the ‘plague’ came from.. Some are actually making a few jokes of saying, saying More Plague equals More Parking.. Others, according to the story, are wondering if it has something to do with the school cafeteria..
But one thing that, for me at least, is unsettling.
As soon as I read the initial reports from RSOE EDIS about the Texas plague infecting almost 1000 people immediately, I remembered something from 2013. At that time, a number of media sources reported that the actual ‘plague’—the Bubonic Plague—was stolen from Texas tech.. I cannot seem to recall a wrap up on the story. I had sort of taken it off my radar of news gathering, simply because there’s too much to worry about already.
When the newest news broke in Texas, my mind immediately went back to it..
While I am certainly and sure that the sickness rolling through that school isn’t the deadly plague of a Bubonic nature, it’s just amazing to see the word ‘plague’ used to describe the illness. Could it be the media attempting to over-dramatize the situation?
I’m sure if you were one of the 700+ that got sick within seconds you’d say it’s not overly dramatic at all…
Meanwhile…
Is there anyone out there who can tell me if the Bubonic plague was ever recovered?

Frozen solid
Life is pretty much at a standstill at my home base and many others across the Midwest and Northeast… We had a major snow storm and it turned into a major ice storm as temperatures warmed up.
While Armageddon has yet to occur, several forecasters were calling for it. Grocery stores were filled with rude and ignorant humans.. And an occasional bike purchase was made, for some strange reason.
Being prepared is fine. But being prepared by buying every gallon of milk in nonsensical.

Justice Antonin Scalia predicts that the Supreme Court will eventually authorize another a wartime abuse of civil rights such as the internment camps for Japanese Americans during World War II.
I know, there are politically charged arguments concerning Scalia’s comments.. and lots of left leaning folks are slamming him. *(Just as right leaning ones would if Ginsberg or Sotomayor said it)* .. but I agree with him in principle. And certainly, looking at the way human beings act during difficult situations, the way they panic, and the way they haphazardly pass PATRIOT ACTS, it can happen again.
