Looks like while Vlad was gone, some plans were put into motion..

Broadcasting again: The UVB-76 Live Stream Blog
UVB-76 Station Live Internet Stream and Blog about The Buzzer, Number Stations, Shortwave Listening and Software Radio.
I think the buzzer is buzzing again. I am able to hear UVB-76 again on the live feed page.. It’s back to ‘normal,’ whatever that normal may be.
Meanwhile, I am on the Earthcam Moscow site. Traffic is moving as normal. I think.. “normal,” again..
I got a message earlier from someone asking why it would even matter if UVB-76 was down, or up, or broadcasting eerie messages. You can read some background from this January story on the HUFFINGTON POST UK page..
I also wrote a few bits about the numbers station and my intrigue and love for them during the history of this site.. one four months ago, another here showcasing one of the creepier numbers stations broadcasts I have ever heard, one a year ago when I celebrated the Clyde Lewis show where he played recordings of creepy media hijacks..
However, the best article I may have ever read on the UVB-76 story was by James Cook in THE KERNEL..
Lots of reading to do.. Lots of weird beeps and buzzing, oddities and frequencies.. Strange frequencies during the night. While you sleep, the numbers stations don’t.. And isn’t that the creepy part? Trying to relax while these strange messages beam around the planet?

Footage of Vladimir Putin raises speculation of whereabouts
The events in the Kremlin are being explained this way: A big concert on the anniversary of Crimea’s annexation..
Meanwhile, the Kremlin is getting angry at REUTERS reporting calling asking where Vladimir Putin is. One comment said it wasn’t funny anymore to be asked so many times.
The next public appearance is set for Monday. Although Russian state TV already said on Friday what happened on Monday, I suppose time is going to be on someone’s side here.
The wild rumors .. the facts.
In propaganda wars, there are no facts. Always remember that. The victors of war and battle simply write the history book..

Vladimir Putin has been 'neutralised' by a stealthy coup as rumours about his health and well-being continue to flourish'
It’s going to be a wild night of news, as this UK DAILY MAIL headline showcases..
There are some interesting developments in Moscow even as US media blackout on it continues.. Reports of tanks rolling into the city and power being out in several places..
Propaganda on all sides is evident in the a Tweets and news reports coming from Russia.. Only rumors at this point and no hard reporting.. Few facts. Only a deepening mystery in the nation .. And for that matter , the world.

Putin’s next public appearance is scheduled for Monday, when he is due to meet Almazbek Atambayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan, in Saint Petersburg. But that encounter was thrown into confusion on Friday night as announcers on state television, apparently reading from an incorrect script, described the meeting in the past tense.

FRIDAY THE 13TH IN RUSSIA: Putin, Said to Be ‘Perfectly Healthy,’ Is Also Nowhere to Be Seen
There are rumors online that Vladimir Putin is either sick, or even dead!
The NYT says,
The last confirmed public sighting was at a meeting with Prime Minister Matteo Renzi of Italy on March 5 — although the Kremlin would have citizens think otherwise.
Given that the Kremlin borrows all manner of items from the Soviet playbook these days, there appeared to be an attempt to doctor the president’s timetable to show that all was well.
The KREMLIN is busy doing damage control..
The mystery deepens: Where’s VLAD the IMPALER…

Russia's Putin outlaws denial of Nazi crimes
By Alexei Anishchuk MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Monday making the denial of Nazi crimes and distortion of the Soviet Union’s role in the World War Two a criminal offence punishable by up to five years in jail. The law, described by critics as an attempt to curb freedom of expression to appease conservative Russians, the ex-KGB spy’s main support base, also criminalizes the public desecration of war memorials. The Kremlin has used World War Two as a pillar to unite a society that Putin has said lost its moral bearings following the 1991 Soviet collapse. The new law would ban “wittingly spreading false information about the activity of the USSR during the years of World War Two.”

President Obama imposed sanctions on Russia. In turn, Russia imposed its own, even saying John McCain could not go to Russia anymore—prompting the Arizona Senator to make a joke that he’ll have to cancel his Siberia vacation. But to prove that current events have less in common with common sense and more in common with professional wrestling, read this: Russian President Putin is mocking the sanctions, and is even going to open an account in a US sanctioned bank! He joked that he will not be introducing a ‘visa regime’ to Crimea..
But just keep your hands off Putin’s puppies, Barack…

MASSIVE CHAOS IN KIEV AS PROTESTERS TAKE ON THE POLICE
There’s lot of chaos happening in Kiev.. RT is there with photos and a full report.
What you need to know about this story: There have been three days of fighting between protesters and police.. There seems to be more black smoke billowing over the capitol city of the Ukraine today .. There are also reports that several protesters have now died during the violent clashes.
The New York TIMES provides a bit of background on why all of this suddenly began:
The Ukrainian crisis escalated sharply last week after President Viktor F. Yanukovich signed new laws restricting public assembly and limiting media freedoms. That revived a protest movement that had been fading, as its political leaders were focusing their efforts instead on elections scheduled for next year.
As though Vlad the Impaler Putin doesn’t have enough to worry about with the Sochi games, he’s getting involved with the crisis in Kiev, chiding the European Union for ‘meddling’ in the affairs of the Ukraine. Reuters reports this:
(Reuters) - Russia told European governments on Tuesday to stop meddling in Ukraine’s political crisis and said events could be spinning out of control in Kiev after violence that left vehicles burning in the streets.
Moscow, which sees its fellow former Soviet republic as part of its traditional sphere of influence, has watched nervously as protests against President Viktor Yanukovich’s decision to shun a trade pact with the European Union have turned violent.
Scores of police and demonstrators have been hurt since Yanukovich, who received a multi-billion-dollar bailout package from Moscow after he spurned the EU deal, angered opponents by signing sweeping laws to curb public protests.
RT has a regularly updated minute by minute blog of the happenings..
The government has called the protesters terrorists. The protesters have said they are the ‘people’s council.’ It is beginning to sound and look a lot like THE DARK KNIGHT RISES in Kiev. But there’s no Batman to stop these scenes..

Putin on NSA leak: Government surveillance shouldn’t break law
Pootie Poot strikes…
You read the headline correct, Russia is giving the United States lessons on when to surveil its citizens.
This brings me back to when former Pres. George W. Bush looked into Vlad the Impaler’s eyes and saw deep into his soul, or so he said.
Is it possible Putin has done the same to America?
