Just when UFO enthusiasts thought they got proof.. in comes the skeptics with facts. Some thought this image showed a space ship near the sun. Others with degrees and most likely huge school loan bills say is a collection of cosmic rays.
So who do you trust.. hubba hubba hubba.. who do you trust?
Just when you thought you were getting ahead of the game. . . comes this study
Sure, my pudding expires December 21 2012 and lots of other people think people in general will, too. But we can’t lose hope. Fukushima may have blasted the planet with extreme radiation.. others worry about our online rights being suddenly stripped with the next bill that has too long of an acronym to even understand anymore. And the weather is crazy, isn’t it? Slightly maddening cows hopefully didn’t get into our meat supply, even though South Korea banned our imports. We will still eat them. Beef, it’s what for dinner. 20 years later you may go mad, too.
But all that aside, life isn’t that bad, right?
Enter this study: The planet Earth is ready to face a century of disasters.
That’s right.. not just a few weeks, or a month.. or a year or two. No, this report goes all the way: A whole century. But the time humans make it to the 22nd, if we should be so lucky as a species, generations may look back on us in 2012 and say ‘these poor schmucks didn’t know what was about to hit them!’
The Royal Society seems to know. They say world population needs to be ‘stabalised’ (British spelling) in order to take awayeth from the rich nations and giveth to the poor nations. Yes, indeed. Agenda 21 anyone? Perhaps conspiracy theories of population control are right after all?
What surprised me was that this report didn’t talk much about the most pressing issue set to face our world in the next 20 or so years: Water. Just peruse your local video rental store…..oh wait they are all shut down… Go to Netflix, you won’t find these in the local RedBox: 5 documentaries that you must see to understand the water crisis that we face—in our lifetime..
But instead of worrying about clean water and air… let’s frack. Seriously.. Fracking make it all go away.
But it does seem to cause an increase in manmade earthquakes, doesn’t it? If you care. Most of the fracking in rural areas anyway. And what person REALLY cares about the rural area anyway.
Besides the Obama administration, which wants to limit what farmhands can do.
Little House on the Prairie. Now regulated!?
Get me Bill Gates! I need a vaccine.
My rambling Thursday morning whatever. Over and out.

So what is he thinking.. the knowing eyes… will he return? Will he stick to shortwave.. Ham is his handle and Coast is the past? Interesting new photo of Art Bell posted tonight by Mr. Bell himself on his Facebook page. Radio equipment in the back, apparently not getting dusty and actually quite clean after the 2011 fire extinguisher incident.
So now what?
Until we know, you can find him hamming it up on Echolink, if you have the technological knowledge to do so.

ShortFormBlog: US officials confirm 4th domestic case of mad-cow disease
The diseased animal “at no time presented a risk to the food supply or human health,” the USDA says. Officials discovered the animal at a rendering facility in central California, which they have not chosen to name. During a briefing in Washington, USDA chief veterinarian John Clifford assured…
At no time.. At no time.. at no time.
No risk at all to food?… No risk.
No risk.
Saying it over and over again makes it all more true, right?

I am following this story.. you should too: Suspicious stain found in basement search for Etan Patz..
I don’t know where the case is going, but I can only imagine how emotional it is for the family.. the family that probably never got over the day that Etan Patz vanished.
How do you deal with this type of tragedy? Some may say just end your own life.. but what about the chances that your child may return.. and you’d miss it. Or the chances your child’s abductor may soon be found, decades later?
Are two mysteries linked? I don't know but it's a compelling possibility..
The cycle of destruction? Could it be that there is a common denominator between colony collapse and autism? Birds and the bees and the kids and the trees.. we are all connected after all.. So why wouldn’t chemicals hit us all, too..?

Sad news tonight.. Jonathan Frid, the actor who played Barnabas Collins on Dark Shadows has died.. too bad he couldn’t make it to the Johnny Depp movie premiere, or maybe good he couldn’t.. I have odd feelings about the Depp DARK SHADOWS..Tim Burton and Co. may have outdone themselves.Or just worked to freak us all out yet again.. HorrorReportCOM But as for Barnabas, no was better than Jonathon Frid.. Good show, Mr. Frid. You were the best soap opera vampire of all time.

Parody photo. Real headline and news story: The Vatican is ordering a “crackdown” on “radical” nuns in the United States, you know, the type that have the audacity to not wear habits or challenge bishops.
Wonder how the crackdown will go. And what exactly occurs during a 21st Century Catholic crackdown is anyone’s guess.. most likely won’t be the same as one that occurred to women in the 1st. Just a hunch.

Reporting at its best..?
HOW UPSETTING. A VERY SERIOUS STORY ABOUT A POTENTIALLY DEADLY VOLCANO NEAR MEXICO CITY, AND ALL THE WASHINGTON POST CAN DO IS MOCK THE SITUATION..
The POST story seems to me aiming to attempt journalism when they write about the Popocatepetl volcano.. until the second sentence when the author writes, “not a good thing”..
The ‘reporting’ continues when the POST says, “It is also a little bit freaky, in a Krakatoa kind of way”.. It also said the “lava dome was growing in the volcano crater like a teenager’s pimple on the eve of prom night”..
Regarding how dangerous of a situation it is, the POST doesn’t let us down with yet another bad pun and reference to pop culture: “Authorities raised the alert level to high yellow, or 5 on a scale of 7 (with 7 presumably being something out of a Michael Bay film).”
And you say hardnose journalism is dead! You claim real news is a thing of the past.
And you know what? You’re right. Apparently real reporting about very serious things is dead.

Winds of change. The stench it is all the same all over again.
I noticed something tonight.. My area, for those who don’t know, really doesn’t change much. If you travel away for a while and come back you’ll feel like you are stuck in the same age.. which has benefits and negatives all in the same. You know what ground you stand on. But you also don’t reap in the glory that changing of scenery can offer.
Tonight, as the typical early spring breeze blew and the sun set, I noticed something. Maybe it was a revelation—one that I will botch up and not do justice by even typing it out in rambling thought. But the breeze blew, birds’ chirps resounded around me like a chorus of warmth, and the sun finally gave way to the night sky. And I thought: Is earth just a classroom in which people roll through now and then for a lesson? Or instead, are we constantly rolling through the same planet? Are we recycling over and over again on earth, trying to get this right? I don’t know. I don’t even know where my thoughts took me..
I think it was one of those moment in time split second glimpse of the thin veil that divides this realm and another.
I mean, I looked at this sunset with birds singing and wondered if it is the first time this generation of birds were here? Maybe they were just recycled and came back again since they were so good at filling a spring evening with refreshing music. Maybe. And maybe I was here before. And saw that same sunset for centuries. Maybe? Getting a little weird yet?
Think of it.. if your each down into the water and grab a fish, what do you do the fish, besides let it gag and garble to death? You make it see a vision of a whole new world .. even if it is only for seconds.
I think from time to time, when we have momentary lapses of reason, we chip away at the shroud that keeps us from understanding a higher purpose. Or power. Or … nothing?
Maybe there is nothing.
And maybe there is something.
And maybe there is reincarnation.
And maybe there is everything.
I just don’t know.
I bet you don’t either. Which makes my abhorrently un-understandable diatribe I just typed all the more ‘out there’..

Wanna take a ride!!!??
The voice of Coast to Coast AM since Art Bell in the 1990s through this year has been Ross Mitchell. His deep voice and sometimes frightening delivery during some of the best shows in the past made those best shows even better. But now, he isn’t working for Coast to Coast AM anymore. He now announces for competitor RED EYE RADIO..
The end of an era?
Some already thought George Noory has taken the show to new lows over the past several years since Art Bell left full time and now altogether. And with the absence of Ross Mitchell, those voices have only become louder.

Here is how some schools discipline kids with special needs: They shock them 31 times for not taking off a coat.
This story should be untrue..it should be fake. But the tortuous treatment occurred while teachers chuckled at it all. But get this: The school uses shock therapy to “help” the kids..
These stories are not confined to the distant past .. there are now.

Weather fans or watchers out there, you already probably know that yesterday was quite tragic for lots of people, including a hospital in Iowa where a tornado struck.. But what amazed me about this day is the number of storm chasers that were live streaming online and for big networks covering the matter. In one instance, the networks said “don’t risk your life,” bla bla bla.. and then in another instance they gave 15 minutes or so of fame to the said weather chaser who caught a glimpse of the massive storm of death. So what are you thoughts? Are we encouraging this activity to a detriment, or is it just the next phase of how events weatherwise will get covered?

This photo has been making the rounds on Facebook and other social networking sites over the past several weeks.. We’d be remiss not to address it on Earth Informer.
The image is a model of that appeared in the Journal of Environmental Radioactivity *something you don’t find on many newstands* shows just how vast and widespread the radiation after the Fukushima disaster has been. The world covered with red and blue.. Shades of red indicate particles at the bottom layer, blue is the upper layer. And all the world is a sea of those two hazy shades of radiation.
More here on the science behind it.

Ok... Easter eve question.....
Question of the day.. who knows what tye of remedy may exist for a very painful sebaceous cyst? It’s not for me.. but for someone else. My mom recommended Vicks and my dad said to tape garlic on it. I have to think some other solution exists for the person afflicted?
I remember those pre-parenthood days..
When my wife and I would see parents buying gifts for their child for Easter. How foolish we’d think. And chuckle.. and go home and continue to be proud of the fact the WE don’t buy gifts for holidays in which gifts were never intended to be the theme.
But tomorrow Ayden will be as proud as a peacock on his brand new Thomas the Train *almost* life size toy and a $10 yard sale iMac computer, along with a $.50 chair to sit at…… Is there a help group out there for hypocritical parents?

The world going mad part 2
….Friday night lights. All across America. Gun shots ring out.. from the highest rooftops to the lowest most garbage filled alleyways.. This isn’t how life is supposed to be. We are not supposed to regress. We are not supposed to devolve. Life is supposed to get better, right? Flying cars? …try high gas prices. Peace on earth? try let’s look for a new planet………
The world going mad part 2
The world is going mad.. so is my little county here in the East
Is this the fall of Rome all over again? A society so into itself that it misses the big picture.. forgets morality.. ceases the high road in exchange for a path into desolation? .. Society seems to be in ruins. But the TV is still on and housewives are still DESPERATE. So who cares.. right?
The world is going mad.. so is my little county here in the East

THE MOON IS BRIGHT...
If you are on the great North American continent, and the sky is clear, peak outside the window and stare at the moon.. the bright light up above is beautiful this evening. Stars are shining in my little town. Hope they are for you, too.
Cue the STARGAZER theme song from PBS.
Either God decided to cut some Wisconsin cheese or the mighty earth below our feet is just choosing to grunt, groan, and flash its might.
For weeks we have heard about mysterious booms in Clintonville. Now this: Booms and flashes of light in Barbaroo, Wisconsin.
One person who called 911 said it sounded like a meteorite blowing up over his head.
Indeed, this story keeps getting weirder.
By the way..
I just asked a question last night about something.. sometimes I ask questions on here and like the responses.. but to be accused of child abuse for simply asking a question on vaccines took me by surprise..
Nonetheless, great responses. 100% solid pro vaccine crowd responded. I wanted some controversy and disagreement but didn’t think so many private messages would have been sent to me telling me how bad of a dad I was.. for asking a question.
A question.
A question…

1 year vaccines?
My son has his check up tomorrow. He is happy and fun at 13 months… Give me advice on vaccines… skip them? Delay them? Get them all.. break them up? inquiring minds want to know what followers may suggest. Just wondering is all……………?
I am an autistic adult. My main "affliction" is people who think of me as "afflicted." If you believe that about autistic people, unfollow. You are not going to like me.
I want you to know and understand this.. I have people in my family, close family.. who are autistic. As far as my terminology or words to describe it? I am sorry if you were offended by “afflicted.”.. perhaps a better choice would have been in order.
![](https://coalspeaker3backup.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/tumblr_m1zl60ie9c1qfjo2go1_400.jpg)
We need to find why boys are more likely than girls to get it.. we need to find why some have warning signs but regression doesn’t hit until 18 months.. we need to find out why women who live near highways are more likely to have babies with autism… And we need to ask really serious, hard, difficult, and probing questions about vaccines. I know ‘two dozen’ studies failed to link vaccines.. but I frankly don’t care. Study it more. Please? 1 in 88 kids’ lives and maybe soon 1 in 33 kids’ lives depend on that.
I haven't posted much of anything here in days, and I am still getting new followers
I appreciate that. Truly. Thanks for stopping by and choosing to follow, even if it for a brief fleeting moment.
And speaking of brief and fleeting, aren’t all moments just that? Here today.. gone tomorrow? And sometimes so fast that you don’t even remember if they happened or if it was some vivid dream during a warm midsummer’s night?
Ohh… time.. don’t let it slip away? Sorry. It did.. A long time ago.
Nonetheless, welcome newbies.

A wrap.
Hope you had a good weekend. The earth seemed safe, though several 5.something quakes hit around the world (including again the Fukushima area).. and John Lear was on Coast to Coast AM with John B. Wells… some believe Lear’s commentary was an April fools’ joke but those who know Lear and remember him dating back to the early 90s on Art Bell know he is consistent. Whether what he says is a joke or not isn’t the issue, what is clear is that it certainly was not only for April Fools..

Strange plumes on the map over Arkansas..?
Dutch Since has been focusing in on major plumes being shown on satellite imagery of the United States.. most recently, as he explained on his website, he seems to be finding more plumes. This time they are rising from Arkansas..
But with the video, this quote from the site:
no analysis — you can form your own opinion on what this is… at this point.. im tired of being the whipping boy for delivering the video on the occurrence .. you decide for yourself.. you think this is a fire.. fine.. you think this is a thunderstorm.. fine.. you think this is military testing.. fine.. you think this is volcanic activity.. fine.. you think this is related to fracking.. fine.. you think this is just a foggy day.. FINE…whatever.. Im just showing you whats on satellite that stands out as odd
I certainly hope no ill-will has been shown towards Michael.. He has an exceptional site that most check every day.. And what he reports on these most recent plumes are worth noting..

Clintonville still shakes
Days after the town of Clintonville, Wisconsin, was told that a 1.5 quake was to blame for the loud booms that took place since late March of this year, the town once again is faced with more movement and more shaking, these booms the loudest yet according to some reports.
One resident told the Applton POST-CRESENT that the 1.5 explanation was enough for people to start living their lives again. But now with the new shaking since the town hall where the mayor told 400 all was ok, people are beginning to question what really may be taking place under their feet.
While no official explanation has come yet from the post 1.5 shaking, some suspect an earthquake swarm and multiple events.
On Tuesday of this week, police were inundated again with calls about loud booms shaking houses and rattling nerves. And on Friday morning, more calls were made about the same noises.
And now, finally, after all this time Clintonville heard these booms, the rest of the nation had to only guess what they sounded like (unless the earth has been making noise near you, too), ABC news’ website has a video of what may be the ‘boom’ in Clintonville.. Listen close
Though the Tshirts were already printed about how ‘we survived the 1.5’ it seems that the noises aren’t quite done, despite politicians and officials wrapping up the story with the bow of an earthquake.

Did you get abducted tonight? Hope it wasn’t the grays..
This is a massively big story for many reasons: Microsoft employees, accompanied by United States marshals, raided two nondescript office buildings in Pennsylvania and Illinois on Friday, aiming to disrupt one of the most pernicious forms of online crime today — botnets, or groups of computers that help harvest bank account passwords and other personal information from millions of other computers

Coast to Coast AM suddenly made me feel scared again
It’s been a while since the late night radio show Coast to Coast AM was able to get under my skin and penetrate deep into my mind.. freak me out.. and make me look over my shoulder when I’m in the woods. Typically George Noory doesn’t have the ability that the great Art Bell did when he hosted full time..
The show revolved around the odd disappearance of people in national parks—people vanishing for over 100 years. At times clothes are found with tiny bones left and no blood.. at times dogs get too scared to keep sniffing for victims.. at times people are found dry after being in snow or rain.. and a vast number of people who vanish are children. Making the scenario all the creepier, the government seems to get very edgy when people start to ask questions.
The show was an instant classic and should you be able to listen or have the chance to, it’s worth the four hours of your time.
And it may change your mind about going camping this year, too.
