TSUNAMI IMPACT FELT



The first tsunami waves triggered by a massive 8.3 earthquake have reached Chilean shores, flooding the streets and forcing people to seek shelter on higher ground. Authorities have kept a high alert level in place for most of the coastline.

Chile’s coastal city of Coquimbo has been hit by waves measuring up to 4.5 meters above normal sea level, Reuters reported citing the country’s navy..

It’s amazing to think.. it has been 1 year since this hell on earth of a Japanese quake and tsunami was unleashed. One year. 


I thought time flew only when you were having fun..?


One year.. do we even remember the people of Japan anymore? Do we even think of the radiation levels.. wonder how much we got here…….12 months is a quick long time.

The New York TIMES reporting what so many already know: The cleanup effort at Fukushima is not going well.. It is confused .. The effort appears sloppy. One worker quoted in the times story says no one knows how even to clean up radiation.. Long term disaster in the making…a generation scarred with radiation for the ages..
