“Space Fence” will track more of the orbiting junk that threatens satellites, but some want the focus on cleanup.

Have a company that is willing and ready to fence off space debris from hitting the planet? Here’s your chance.. The Air Force is set to award a contract that will actually give money to a company that does just that: Create a ‘space fence’ to track orbital debris and life-changing manmade chunks of junk.. 

The WASHINGTON POST reports:

Because it zips along faster than a speeding bullet, the trash poses an ever-growing threat to the satellites that help the military communicate and gather intelligence and serve the world’s obsession with Google Earth and on-demand movies. Until last year, the Pentagon used what was called a “Space Fence” to track the junk and warn of potential collisions that make owners scramble to move their satellites out of the way.

But that system managed to keep up with only a fraction of it all, and it went out of commission last year. Now the Air Force is poised to take a more modern crack at the problem with a new Space Fence.

With a contract expected to be awarded in the next few weeks, the program is designed to be mankind’s best effort yet at tracking space pollution. But the new Space Fence still doesn’t provide what many think is the ultimate solution: cleaning up space.

It’s about time.
As a matter of fact, we should not just stop at space junk.. what about the pink stars as they are falling? Catch them before they do. We should, as a society, be far enough advanced that we are already in place with something that catches more asteroids before they come within a moon’s length—or closer—to the planet earth. We should not be caught off guard a day before a meteor may hit.. We have focused too much on earthly nonsense and pointless hate.. By now the world should have come together with immediate goals: To save ourselves from space, or at least give us a little more time for extra hugs and a last meal..

So the space fence is good. Hopefully it’s a high enough fence that not even Wilson can get through..

Nigeria defended its response to the kidnapping of hundreds of schoolgirls by a terror group even as details emerged Tuesday about a second mass abduction.

The newest mass abduction the nation is seeing occurred Sunday when, according to reports, gunmen moved door to door snatching girls and beating anyone who attempted to stop them.

Nigeria’s government is downplaying criticism.. They are also being accused of downplaying the original abductions. A social media campaign brought attention to the matter and the little action that was initially taken to do anything about the crimes..

Welcome to the fun new world of Webdriver Torso

Chances are you have yet to hear about the Youtube Channel where a user named “Webdriver Torso” has been busy uploading videos—77,000+ of them to be exact. Each video is an 11-second video of red and blue rectangles along with weird tones..

A new modern Youtube version of a numbers station?
A contact to aliens?
A coded message perhaps for an upcoming movie?
Maybe French spies?

The story has been pretty big in the UK--some suspect that the origin of the weird YOUTUBE account is from France, being that one video was of the Eiffel Tower. 

The mystery began in September 2013 when videos being being posted.. hundreds a day in some instances. All 11 seconds. 

The BBC discovered a potential French connection to the mystery a few days ago, writing:

The very first video uploaded to the channel, over a month before the first rectangle classic, reveals a completely different side to Webdriver.

Locked behind a 1.99 euro ($2.76; £1.63) paywall and only accessible if you’re in France, is a clip from the cartoon series Aqua Teen Hunger Force, in which the show’s three anthropomorphic fast-food items - Frylock, Meatwad and Master Shake - fail to win a pub quiz.

The second anomalous clip only raises more questions.

In video 1,182 we have what could be our first sighting of Webdriver.

Filmed from a Parisian balcony, the six-second clip shows an Eiffel Tower lightshow followed by a fleeting glimpse of a face.

Below the video, Webdriver has left a comment, their only known communication with the world: “Matei is highly intelligent.”

BOING BOING wondered if this is the modern version of a creepy numbers station.. It actually makes sense. Even spies have APPs now..

The Webdriver Torso account also has some thinking it’s apart of that other weird internet mystery: Cicada 3301—the 2014 net mystery began four months ago with a ‘good luck 3301’ message.

But the bubble of mystery is being burst by the UK GUARDIAN, which claims a bit of a more mundane argument as to what Webdriver Torso’s channel is. The paper writes this:

Isaul Vargas, a New York-based software tester, spotted the videos in a post on BoingBoing and recognised them from an automation conference he had been at a year ago. They were being shown by a European firm that made streaming software for set-top boxes, the kit that sits under a TV and connects to services such as Sky or Netflix.

But the GUARDIAN also had this postscript on their mundane attribution:

But there’s another twist. Isaul has tracked down the presentation he saw, which was given by the British company YouView. While it features similar videos, it is not identical: so although the general principle of using WebDriver, YouTube and automatic image recognition to test software stands, the culprit has slipped off into the night.

When one door closes, another opens. A thousand videos into the series is one six-second clip that breaks the mould. A short video of the Eiffel Tower, it features a comment from the uploader: “Matei is highly intelligent.” Already, readers have been hard at work trying to find someone who fits the bill, but it’s tricky. Matei is a common Romanian name, and even assuming that Matei is the uploader, is based in France, and has a public profile, there are at least two possibilities: Basarab Matei, who works on image recognition at the University of Paris North (suggested by @DAddYE), and Matei Mancas, who works on attention modelling at the University of Mons in Belgium (suggested by @marquis)

So that’s that for now.
You can join the thousands of people commenting on the Webdriver Torso videos…you can be like them and try to unravel the mystery. Or you can safely adjust your tin foil hat and wait for the aliens to beam back their response to the video.

Or just watch the pictures as they FTP through the air.. from France, or some other undisclosed location for reasons of security and therefore insecurity.

William Shatner is cool.  Not only is he the face of Michael Myers but he’s also writing a novel about aliens abductions.

In this interview snippet from Larry King and Shatner, he explains why he is writing it, and what he believes about UFOs.

Shatner uses the story of John E. Mack (and his unfortunate early death) as a means to inspire deeper thought about aliens—why don’t they display and what would their intention be to abduct?  For those who may not know, John Mack was a Harvard professor involved with interview 62 children from a school house in Africa that claimed they all saw aliens with long hair—aliens who warned them that the planet was in environmental danger.. This 1994 event was called the Encounter in Ruwa.  Mack was also a frequent guest on Coast to Coast AM when Art Bell hosted.. Like Shatner, I have always been extremely interested in Mack—but particularly in his conclusion that alien life was real, abductions were real, and that UFOs were from another reality..

The International BUSINESS TIMES says this:

The mystery of the vanished Malaysia Airlines flight took a new twist with the international team probing the incident, considering the possibility that the plane may have landed rather than ended up in the Indian Ocean.

All of this after months now of changing stories, altered quotes, and weird government actions in connection with the aftermath of a plane gone missing.

Is the terrorism angle possible? I suppose at this point anything is..

I still think about Sarah Bacj—people laughed at her saying she thought people from Flight 370 still may be alive. 

We don’t even know half of the half of what happened.. And now this series of terror attests certainly has eyebrows raised.

And really, at this point, do we believe anything we are told regarding this story?

New Sex Abuse Lawsuit Targets Bryan Singer, Gary Goddard

An anonymous UK citizen has filed suit against Bryan Singer and Gary Goddard, alleging that they both sexually assaulted him when he was a teenager.

It’s probably not what anyone in the production team or advertising and marketing department of X-MEN want to hear.. but this Hollywood wasteland news is getting only deeper. 

The DAILY BEAST had a amazingly graphic account of the lawsuit details yesterday.. This new lawsuit is separate from that filed Michael Egan..

The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER writes on the allegations:

Singer had sex with the plaintiff at a Superman after after party in a London hotel room when the plaintiff was 17, according to the suit. (This is presumably a reference to Singer’s Superman Returns, which had its U.K. premiere July 13, 2006.) The boy resisted, the suit continues, but Goddard brought in a “large, musclebound man” who smacked the teenager around, holding him while Singer grabbed him and Goddard, naked on the bed, watched. Singer then allegedly attempted to rape the plaintiff. The complaint, although a civil matter, states or suggests that Singer and Goddard violated federal and state criminal law.

Marty singer is Bryan Singer’s lawyer—no relation though. Team Singer is doing its best to resuscitate the image of the X-MEN director and deny all allegations.. 

But now, as the movie release date comes closer, it will be interesting to see how they affect the film’s entrance onto the box office scene.. will people see it without concern, or will others be completely offput by the thoughts of SUPERMAN sex and rough looking muscle bound goons slapping a young teenage boy who did not want to have sex with a Hollywood hit?

Sordid tales of Hollywood are not new..
But these allegations—and an upcoming documentary being made by the same person who exposed the Catholic church--promises more explosive fireworks.

With the never ending drip of allegations against Singer and others in Hollywood, it will be interesting to see what other storms brew..

Pipe Explosion at Hanford Plutonium Finishing Plant Site

The rest of the world is not paying attention to the ongoing disaster at the Hanford nuclear site in Washington state.. I have been, and a brief search in the archives of this site, and you’ll find some mentions.

This link being reported today is actually days old—not to my credit at all, but I completely missed it this weekend.

Apparently a pipe explosion occurred at the plant weeks ago—something the public was never told about. NBC RIGHT NOW reported this from Washington state:

The Hanford union representative says it happened when workers were cutting some pipe as part of the demolition of the Plutonium Finishing Plant.

The union representative wants to remain anonymous and says workers are concerned management isn’t putting worker safety first. 

"Having a pipe explode at probably the most contaminated facility in the United States. This is one of the most hazardous buildings in the U.S." said the Union representative.

It has gotten to the point now where management called the pipe issue a ‘small pop’ while workers describe it as a shutgun blast.

This is video from Toronto.. a good dashboard camera saw a meteor in the daytime sky. It’s brief but is brilliantly white..

This beautiful image of downtown Toronto with a meteor in the sky is peaceful and serene—and the opposite of what would have happened if HL129 would have struck the planet. 

HL129 is an asteroid the size of a bus—it came very close to the planet Saturday morning. While we did not really hear much about it—despite the fact is was closer to the earth than the moon—the planet was obviously in some sort of danger and thankfully it did not hit..

Not that we would have known anyway.

The asteroid was actually discovered on April 28. OF 2014—days before it actually would have made itself known to the planet earth.

Fracking-Linked Earthquakes May Strike Far from Wells

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Fracking may cause earthquakes much farther from the sites of its wastewater wells than previously thought, researchers said here Friday (May 2) at the annual meeting of the Seismological Society of America. In central Oklahoma, a cluster of four high-volume wastewater injection wells triggered quakes up to 30 miles (about 50 kilometers) away, said lead study author Katie Keranen, a geophysicist at Cornell University in New York. The earthquakes have since spread farther outward, as fluids migrate farther from the massive injection wells, she said. “The pressure is high enough from the injected fluids to trigger earthquakes.”

The money quote:

Because of the recent jump in earthquakes, and their significant size, the USGS plans to estimate the national shaking risk from “induced seismicity” for the first time, Rubinstein said. Induced seismicity refers to any man-made earthquake, including fracking, wastewater injection and geothermal plants

It’s good to see we are finally at a point where people in scientific power are admitting what ‘conspiracy theorists’ have known for years now: Fracking causes earthquakes. Pure and simple.

We need to grips with that premise. Fracking. Earthquakes.

And then evaluate what we are doing.

Is it worth extracting what we are to induce ‘seismicity’? 

The quakes are small now. But that’s not. Who in the gas industry ever predicted years back that fracking would lead to mini quakes? And for all those ‘small quakes,’ look at Oklahoma: A 5.7 hit in 2011 and their current levels of activity in that state are higher than even the shaky west Coast California faults. Human actions are having a direct result on the planet.. 

And is it worth it?

People can actually be tricked into thinking they said something that they did not, and it’s only when they are faced with their actual words that they realize how much their mind can be deceptive .. 

Your mind indeed can play tricks on you.

There is also one other thing—something not mentioned in this study. But did you ever notice how you think you sound different than you actually do, and then you hear your voice on some sort of audio and wince at your own sound? So not only do we not know what we are saying but we also think we sound a lot different than we do.. and when we realize our vocal chords don’t give us the Barry White style by instead the Richard Simmons effect, we hang our heads in shame.

This headline gives us a glimpse into how heartless and disturbing the heart of man can be—but how amazing and innocent children are..

To set the scene: A man approached this 8-year-old boy and his 12-year-old sister.. He began to brutally rape the girl. The boy attempted to defend his sister. And for that he was brutally beaten until he was lifeless—an innocent and heroic young man’s light was extinguished by a disgusting coward hell bent on stealing the goodness of a child..

Police hunted for the suspect Thursday night. Initially, he was described as a white male with scraggly facial hair. But Dionne Waugh, a spokeswoman for the Richmond police, told NBC News the description was false because the victim was told her family would be harmed if she gave a true description.

With the help of outraged neighbors, police identified a male teenage suspect. He was being medically evaluated Friday with a warrant for his arrest pending.

"The community’s response has been tremendous," Waugh told NBC News. "They played a very important role in gathering information to lead us to this point."

Waugh called the assault and killing grisly and heartbreaking — “probably one of the most tragic cases” she’s ever encountered.

"Every loss of life here is tragic, [but] whenever it’s a case involving juveniles, it’s especially hard for everyone involved, from our detectives to our fire and ambulance personnel, who are often first on scene," she said. "So it’s been a challenge, I think, for a lot of people here."

Some of my readers and friends tell me that I overwhelm them with bad news.. So often that bad news is about children.. Maybe that’s the case. But I get emotional about crimes against children .. I get truly grief stricken often when reading these types of headlines. And they are very real.

For those who would tell me to ignore them.. for those who say to stop reporting on them or talking about them: No. 

Because letting your guard down involves ignoring the demons and black hearted heals that walk the crust of this planet.

The man who did this to this girl and boy, even if he repents, would deserve nothing but hatred .. I find his actions beyond loathsome.

And now a family is going to have to come to grips with this crime—no doubt the horror of it will forever live with them ..

This is tragic.. The death toll from this landslide is still climbing higher.. I last knew it to be over 300 .. today it steamed upwards in dramatic numbers to 2,100 *as of now* ..

But the other number that is noteworthy besides the rising death toll: Over 4,000 are now homeless.

This story is the second ‘landslide’ story making headlines this week. In the city of Baltimore, a landslide took out an entire street along with very expensive cars. But in the scheme of things, that seems to be child’s play compared to 2000+ people perishing from the natural disaster.. 

Numbers set to increase .. an obvious story still developing.

Here in Schuylkill County, where the trees even look sad lately, there is an aura of depression.. an aura of sadness, perhaps the raping of the land by coal barons has finally hit, now that the generations are changing .. 

The Schuylkill Mall in Frackville, PA, is a symbol of this.. It stands nearly vacant, a few stores peppered about and maybe a handful of people shopping. A new movie theater with an awesome bar has livened things up. And just when you thought there was hope that the giant mall could survive to die another day, this news comes: A SUBWAY is coming to the mall.

How I loathe Subway and its processed meat.. how I despise that smell of the restaurant, which somehow can stick on your clothing for days.. How i disdain their bread—though they removed the rubber, I suppose.

Subway?

Seriously? This is the best that a dying mall can do? 

My idea for this mall—and any other mall across this nation where shopping is going down hill in favor of online retail: Let the people have their malls back. 

Rent is too damn high—yes a candidate for office in New York said that, but when it comes to malls, he was right. The rent in malls in too high.. it’s impossible to sustain your dream of having your own business when you get little traffic in a dying mall but still pay through the roof to have it. 

So why not this: Lower rent for a year—maybe even do rent-free for six months. Advertise to ANY PERSON IN THE AREA who has a dream about owning their own store and their own business. How about getting a farmer’s market of fresh food once a week? A grand experiment to buy local—imagine the idea of NO BIG CHAIN STORES, and no big chain restaurants ?? Instead fresh and locally made, locally sold, and locally grown.. It would be amazing and cool.

And perhaps reinvigorate malls.. Not only in Frackville PA but everywhere else a dying mall threatens to blight the landscape with a giant vacant shell..

Bill Clinton was on Jimmy Kimmel in April. By now, unless you have been living with the grays in a underground alien base, you know that the former President opined about aliens. Kimmel asked specific questions, and Clinton answered that life may be out there..

But what else, besides the chipper back and forth, exists..? What other secrets lurk in Clinton’s brain—those not of the sexual nature, but of the other worldly?

Ben Hansen is the host of TV’s FACT OR FAKED: PARANORMAL FILES on SYFY.. He is adding his voice to the mix of opinions concerning Clinton’s UFO talk.. And he says something else is going on.

Hansen said that Clinton became defensive, locked his jaw, and looked away from Kimmel during his answer..  Hansen claims these are signs of evasiveness.. Signs that perhaps there is more than meets the eye?

But remember this: Kimmel’s program would have supplied Clinton’s team with the questions prior to the appearance. Bill knew that Roswell was going to be discussed.. So be caught off guard by a truly scripted question is no excuse. Perhaps the limelight of talking about such issues to a giant audience made him apprehensive? Though he lied before to America, this time around the issue wasn’t whether oral sex was infidelity, but something that actually mattered: Is there life, and does the government know anymore about it than they say.

After the cows were killed, employees at Rancho Feeding Corp., based in Petaluma, California, would hide the warning signs of cancer by trimming off diseased parts, using a fake stamp of approval or even replacing the heads of sick cows with ones from healthy animals, the officials say

In case that didn’t settle in, they’d REPLACE THE HEADS OF SICK COWS WITH HEALTHY ONES… read that?

And things like this don’t help either: We also learn that one of the government inspectors – someone responsible for protecting consumers from bad meat – was having a romantic relationship with a plant foreman..

I am skeptical by nature—it’s a must when dealing with anything of paranormal lure. But regardless of the truth of the Cranmer family claims, I find it pretty amazing that so much ‘demon’ talk has made it in mainstream news lately. 

It was not long ago that we heard about Latoya Ammons and the story of her demon possessed children.

As for Cranmer, he made the rounds on various radio programs like DARKNESS RADIO and COAST TO COAST AM.. 

This new story presented by FOX 8 goes in depth with Adam Blai, who has a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology and is a former skeptic turned expert demonologist and advisor to the Roman Catholic Church; performing and training priests in exorcism. You don’t see that sort of description every day.

The money quote that stood out to me was an answer from Blai on an increased amount of interest by people in demonology:

There must be some calling. But the great danger in that, is that anything that leads to pride, like, ‘oh I’m special,’ or ‘oh look I helped cast out this demon,’ or ‘met this thing from the Old Testament,’ or ‘met Judas Iscariot or Satan,’ or whatever and you can get puffed up by that, and think that’s exciting, but the moment you allow yourself to go there, the next case you’re going to get smacked back down really hard. One thing they’re really good at is providing corrective experiences

As for the house itself: It has six fireplaces. And a supposedly haunted past.

Airman dies saving his 5-year-old daughter's life

Master Sgt. Dan ‘Bud’ Wassom II’s last action in this life was using his body to shield his 5-year-old daughter Lorelai as a tornado demolished his house on Sunday, said his mother, Pamela Wassom.

Stories like this always get me emotional.
This man was a Master Sgt. but the true bravery he showcased in life was not in the air or in battle, it was against a weather system  that had no sympathy for human life.

His daughter is alive because of his actions.. He is not.

The money quote:

“Lorelai kept telling the emergency room people, she said, ‘My daddy saved me; the house exploded and my daddy saved me; he’s a hero,’” Pamela said. “And he is. He’s a true hero.”

Maybe this Friday night, take a second to appreciate your own life just more.. 

And pray or hope there’s a better place after this planet takes us—if so Dan Wassom is in it.

It is from that street in Baltimore that fell victim to a landslide after the monster rain this past week. The last 15 seconds of the video is the most notable—and obviously life threatening .. thankfully no one was on the cliff of the street as it collapsed..

This image is what NASA imagines human will look like on Mars. The shiny space suit appears to be more from a TWILIGHT ZONE episode than a cutting edge future.. NASA is calling it the Z-2 Spacesuit. It’s only a prototype. So maybe there is still time for more color to be added to the drabby appearance that human beings would have on the red planet..

The new gray outfit comes after a 2012 release of a BUZZ LIGHTYEAR type prototype. 

The new improved design is vacant flags but has a fortress of protection for the astronauts who will wear the attire.

Maybe now NASA could work on getting some additional funding to actually get us to Mars. OR we can just rely on the private industry. And if we do, perhaps Versace can come up with the wardrobe.

A new Cornell University study has found that children who eat chicken on the bone are more likely to disobey adults and be aggressive towards other kids.

No comment.

Except they never met my son. He had yet to meet a pop tart he doesn’t like. He has yet to eat meat. On or off the bone.

The only question I am left with: Who thought about this as a study? Did some scientist realize his kid was eating lots of wings and cussing him out?

Natasha Blasick is making some paranormal headlines—and raising suspicious eyebrows—after she made the claim that she had sex with a ghost. Not once, though—twice.

The star, who appeared in the horror movie PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2, told the British show THE MORNING that she had her first encounter when she was alone in her room.. MORE:

"I couldn’t see anybody, and suddenly I could feel that somebody was touching me. The hands were pushing me against my will, and I could feel the weight of a body on top of me."

Despite her initial discomfort, Blasick said she decided to “relax” and the experience became “really, really pleasureable”.

It’s good to see things worked out for them.

She went no to say:

"It was fun. I think ever since I was a child I always wanted to know if there is anything more to this world, I was always asking the questions, and I think this made me feel kind of reassured that there is something more than what we can see with the naked eye," she continues. "It gave me comfort and support and love, and it did answer questions for me that there is something else out there."

Blasick is not the first to claim an encounter with a spirit from beyond.. There are stories circling in the paranormal world of people claiming to have such relationships with the dead. It’s noted though the paranormal ‘mainstream’—if there is such a thing—gives little credence to the stories of sexual lust from ghosts..

As for Blasick: There is video of the interview--but to our knowledge no ‘sex tape’ exists capturing the event ..

High Doses of Antidepressants Linked To Self-Harm In Children, Young Adults

High doses of antidepressants — selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors such as Prozac or Zoloft — may raise the risk of suicidal behavior in children and young adults, according to a recent study CBS News reported.

The kids aren’t alright..

But the logic of this story was already in our brains. We are a highly medicated society—adults and children. Not a moment on TV goes by that there’s not an advertisement for adult over the counter drugs to help moods or improve sex lives. Often those ads show an elderly couple in a bathtub together—all the while quickly talking voices are telling how men can have heart attacks. So try it today.

I actually would not be surprised if morning cartoon shows will soon feature ads for antidepressants..

For the study, researchers analyzed data  from 162,625 people - between the ages of 10 and 64 years - with depression who started antidepressant treatment with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor at modal (the most prescribed doses on average) or at higher than modal doses from 1998 through 2010.

In all seriousness, how many times does it come out that active shooters are hooked on medicine?

Perhaps there’s no 100% rule on the matter, but it sure is interesting that the kids who smoke pot or go to parties in the woods to drink beer seemingly aren’t the villains of these heinous acts.  Instead, it seems to always be the ones who are seeing doctors, legit doctors, who are prescribing drugs that a child would never be able to spell, let alone pronounce, during a spelling bee.

1 in 25 kids in the United States (that’s 2011 numbers, too) are on some form of mood changing drug. Many of them are under the age of 12—and many more are under the age of 5.

Are antidepressants always bad? No.
Are they overused?

The numbers tell the story more than any opinionated author on a website.

A handwritten note found in Kurt Cobain’s wallet by police isn’t very kind to Courtney Love.. 

Though Cobain has been dead for 20 years, we are just hearing about this..

Cobain calls Love his ‘lawful shredded wife’ and says she will be ‘siphoning’ off his money for drugs..

The release of the note by Seattle police follows a recent revelation that the police decided to review internal files regarding the rock star’s death in anticipation of media and fan attention to the 20-year-anniversary which occurred at the beginning of the month. As part of that process, the SPD released dozens of never-before-seen police photosfrom the scene where Cobain’s body was found, and then on Monday, a detective’s full report on the re-examination of the suicide file

And this:

The note, which is not dated, begins as a seemingly direct parody of standard Christian marriage vows, starting with the words, “Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife…” It goes on to say, “even when she’s a bitch with zits and siphoning all (your) money for doping and whoring…” 

No word on when the note was written.

CBS notes that those who feel a conspiracy of justice took place and that Cobain was murdered should check the hand writing on this newfound note. CBS reports that the note about Courtney Love is very similar to the handwriting on the suicide note.

BELTANE

Today is May 1.
May day.
It coincides with international Workers Day.
It is often the comes with violent worker protests.. police in riot gear.. Tear gas.. All that stuff.

The origins though can possibly be traced back as far as pre-Christian times. 

May 1 is also “Beltane,” the pagan holiday that marks the halfway point of spring. Pagans have come a long way, as well. As a matter of fact, if you celebrated Beltane back in the good ole days, chances are you would have been sacrifices children en masse..

Beltane was named after Baal. He was a fearsome divinity of yesteryear—and he was the entity to whom children were sacrificed to in fire..

In all fairness, Beltane actually took place on April 30—almost like All May’s Eve. It was one of the most important nights not he pagan calender. 

And oddly enough, it would appear according to numbers, that the highest amount of child kidnappings take place in May. Spring. Beltane-like almost, maybe.. Perhaps Baal is still getting his sacrifices all these years later. 

To condemn those who protest and celebrate “May Day” would be as unfair as it would be to say those who celebrate Christmas and Easter are wrong. After all, they are all based on paganism.

It just so happens, though, that Beltane was the most revolting of the pagan traditions with the murder of children in high numbers. All for a god who did not exist.. 

As a result of the sordid history of murder or kids, Beltane has become an especially difficult ‘holiday’ for pagan parents to explain to their own children, as this blog post from PaganParent.com would prove..

Another pagan site, Brighter Blessings, proves that you can always find a silver lining. It says that children can celebrate Beltane by gathering blossoms.. And then, in turn, the innocent children can be “rewarded with beautiful blossoms” .. No mention of whether a reward would be a fiery sacrifice to Baal. 

May day celebrations.. fine.
But remember some history.
Remember your pagan facts.

Infant sacrifice was a tenet of the pagan day of Beltane.
Modern day May day.

Justin Bieber, 20, scored a legal victory against a celebrity photographer who filed a battery lawsuit against the singer and his bodyguard.

If you believe there’s a God who loves us, then ask yourself: Why is there a Justin Bieber.

Then again, there is even Christian teaching that attempts to explain why a loving God would allow evil to desecrate his creation. 

Maybe that’s a little harsh.

Nonetheless, Justin Bieber scored a big victory. And as the UK DAILY MAIL shows us, he left the court house like Moses parting the sea. In Biebs case, he parted the throngs of fans that were there to get a glimpse..

Maybe court should have been postponed. It sounds to me like the judge had severe Bieber fever.

Megan Fox said a lot of horrible and nasty things about Michael Bay after TRANSFORMERS 2—and most of was agreed upon by people who yet to forgive him for PEARL HARBOR. 

But now, Megan Fox must have had a ‘come to Splinter’ moment (TMNT reference there, folks) .. Fox has nothing but kindness to shower on Bay in the limelight of attention over the upcoming NINJA TURTLES re-re-re-redo.

Fox said that Bay was like ‘Hitler’ on the set of TRANSFORMERS. 
No word on whether he was like Shredder this time (another TMNT reference, folks) ..

On April 10, this is what Megan Fox told ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY about her former adversary:

He was one of the most lovely people that I dealt with in making this movie. I’ve always loved Michael. We’ve had our battles in the past but even when I’ve been really outspoken about difficulties we’ve had, I’ve always followed up by saying that I have a particular affinity to him. He can be very vulnerable, and he’s very likable and lovable. I’ve always been very vocal about that as well. But, sometimes we clash because we both have very willful, powerful personalities.

I still have high doubts about the new TURTLES film—I was not impressed at all with the trailer and actually thrown off a bit by the weird appearance the sewer dwelling heroes had. Also: The overabundance of Megan Fox in the trailer caused me fear. 

Her acting quality aside, the movie trailer at least appeared to focus more on her than anything else.  I assume the use of her image was done to stoke up the teenage boy crowd.. 

But even if TMNT flops and Bay vs Fox part 2 occurs, at least she will still be allowed into Disney World..

I agree, too. It is a compelling video.

But remember what a UFO means: Not an alien, but something unidentified.

With the amount of drones and weapons of war created over the past 20 years,I almost discount most ‘sightings’ anymore as being something from intergalactic space. Instead I have come to believe there are very human and mortal explanations for what we see in the skies—at least 99% of it. It’s the 1% that causes me concern.. The 1% are UFOs that actually may be those beings from another planet—or maybe even more so beings from another timeline.

Mayor Rob Ford takes break from campaign to seek help for alcohol abuse

Embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford said he is taking a break from his re-election campaign to seek help for alcohol abuse — hours after a local newspaper reported on a new video that allegedly shows him smoking crack cocaine.

The guy just cannot help himself..

It’s going to be sad without jokes at his expense, but how much can society and the media kick an already downed horse? This guy appears to be one sniff away from a massive heart attack. His entire presence is more in line with Chris Farley in the final days than a respected mayor.

I keep going back to the sweaty and weird appearance Ford made on the Jimmy Kimmel show. I often wonder if Ford thought his actions were being celebrated or if he knew the joke was on him? 

While people have mocked and paraded his image around for jest, he’s the only one not in on the joke. He became the joke.

And now his crack and booze addiction must have gotten so bad that he will break from the campaign..

Will he return? 
Something tells me “YES!”
