Reports from tens of thousands of bird-counting volunteers show a southern invasion of Arctic-dwelling snowy owls has spread to 25 states, and frigid cold is causing unusual movements of waterfowl.

Pretty impressive stats, I’d say.

…..but for what it’s worth, the Farmer’s Almanac and the large furry critters that cross the road did.

And so did Accuweather—which seems to be so far ahead of the game on the NOAA all the time…

This is just how WRONG the government was. (Maybe they were too busy writing the code to HEALTHCARE.GOV?)

Peggy the Revolutionary?

I read with some surprise the Wall Street JOURNAL editorial written this week by former Reagon speechwriter and conservative Peggy Noonan.. It’s titled “Our Decadent Elites.” 

There may be many Peggy Noonan haters in my following crowd, but consider some of her salient points.. She starts her article like this:

America sees Washington as the capital of vacant, empty souls, chattering among the pillars. Suggesting this perception is valid is helpful in what way?

…she goes on to say this…

We’re at a funny point in our political culture. To have judgment is to be an elitist. To have dignity is to be yesterday. To have standards is to be a hypocrite—you won’t always meet standards even when they’re your own, so why have them?

…and she mentioned this:

And it is all about the behavior of our elites, our upper classes, which we define now in a practical sense as those who are successful, affluent and powerful. This group not only includes but is almost limited to our political class, Wall Street, and the media, from Hollywood to the news divisions.

They’re all kind of running America.

Some may raise eyebrows that Peggy Noonan is talking about the elites.. The wealthy.. the upper class. And doing so not in a favorable fashion.

It seems a sea change of sorts has taken place in this country. Maybe things have gotten so bad, so rich vs poor without a middle class to adsorb anything anymore, that even Peggy Noonan is decrying the unhealthy economic battle field that exists in this new, two Americas. 

And the biggest shock, of sorts, is how she ends her editorial. Like this:

They’re making their videos, holding their parties and having a ball. OK. But imagine you’re a Citizen at Home just grinding through—trying to do it all, the job, the parenthood, the mowing the lawn and paying the taxes. No glamour, all responsibility and effort. And you see these little clips on the Net where the wealthy sing about how great taxpayer bailouts are and you feel like … they’re laughing at you.

What happens to a nation whose elites laugh at its citizens?

What happens to its elites?

What does happen, indeed…

The piles are high but early signs of spring abound..

My Daily Doodle for February 18, 2014..

It was a messy scene.. Valentine’s Day party for Ayden at school meant that mom and dad had to write out all the cards, put the candy in the bags, and desperately try to maneuver the lollipops into the designated holes on the Scooby Doo valentines.. All the while, food boiled and dishes were dirty.. and Ayden played SONIC THE HEDGE HOG on the iPad. 

By 11pm it was done.. finished.. Ready.

Hope we didn’t forget any kids in the process..

I am SHOCKED to see how much Janet Yellen has already changed the Federal Reserve.. She is currently on her Bangerz tour of all banks, ready to pump them full of much needed equity.. 

Booms .. bangs.. mystery.

The booms don’t stop! The bangs won’t end.. the earth noises continue..

Now residents in Oklahoma are freaked out and baffled by loud booms that are going bump in the night..  

I am beginning to believe that either gas drilling is substantially changing the layers below the crust of the earth, or the core of the earth has dramatically shifted and now the earth’s magnetic field is being affected.

There are, at this point, no other logical explanations that would make sense of two plus years of earth booms from all over this planet..

But I wonder if Kayla Michelle Finley enjoyed 2005’s not-a-hit movie MONSTER IN LAW enough to warrant her going to prison for failing to return the movie — to a NOW DEFUNCT VIDEO RENTAL STORE, AS WELL!

The true crime: MONSTER-IN-LAW was made. There’s some folks that should go to jail..

According to VARIETY, almost 100% of faith driven moviegoers are dissatisfied with NOAH.. Bad numbers for the exact fan base that Hollywood banked on..

Earth 2014: Animals get revenge

There seems to be a shift happening everywhere.. Art Bell coined the term the ‘quickening’ in the 1990s. I think we are living through it.. Humans are evolving to become zombies thanks to meth and Krokodil.. businesses are rapidly closing due to an evolving economy .. visit a mall lately?

And now this: Animals very well be becoming more aggressive towards human beings. Everything evolves..

Maybe animals are just getting sick of the ‘masters’ of the planet..? How long before Alfred Hitchcock’s THE BIRDS actually happens?

Yesterday we linked up news that the UN was going to condemn Lil Kim Jong Un in North Korea for crimes against humanity. 

They did. And I read the report almost in full.. it reads like Nazi Germany.

I really get angry at people who say the atrocities committed during World War II are limited to the 20th Century.

Clearly they are not—they are happening now and Kim Jong Un is just one of the global players destroying goodness on this planet with his evil acts.

China has now rejected ‘unreasonable’ criticism of North Korea—obvious global political games still being played even though babies and innocent people are being slaughtered by Kim..

The UN report says that the crimes in North Korea has no parallel un the contemporary world. I fear they are wrong on that..

Perhaps the worst of the worst is Kim Jong UN forced mothers to drown their newborn children..
