Multiple students stabbed in Pittsburgh are in surgery..

CNN is reporting that several of the children have ‘deep stab wounds’ and that multiple hospitals have some in surgery—life threatening wounds are being tended to.

A student reported that someone came into the school with a knife and started slashing people, including some of his friends. That information has not been confirmed by police.

As with any school shooting, in this case a mass stabbing, rumors are running wild. this one included.. lots of information yet to be sorted out..

The numbers keep increasing.. no word on deaths. Only injuries.. true thoughts and prayers going out to this part of the state—collective consciousnesses is required or prayers if you believe.. Send as much positive energy as you can.

A multiple stabbing situation is developing at a Pittsburgh PA area high school

Multiple people stabbed at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pa.; conditions unknown; suspect in custody, police say.. not a school shooting—a school stabbing.. It happened at 7:15 am, about 15 minutes after the high school opened. Middle school is secure. Knives don’t stab people, people stab people.

NBC reports in full:

Emergency crews raced to a high school outside Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning after a report of multiple stabbings. A county official said that as many as six people were reported injured.

A suspect was in custody, Dan Stevens, a Westmoreland County emergency management spokesman, told NBC News.

The stabbings were reported at Franklin Regional High School, in the suburb of Murrysville.

WPXI, the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, reported that hospitals had been told to expect patients. The first injury calls came in about 7:15 a.m., about 15 minutes after the school doors opened for the day, the station reported.

The school district website said that high school students and middle school students nearby were “secure,” and that elementary school had been canceled for the day. The cited “a critical incident” at the high school.

Streets around the school were sealed off.

Peaches Geldof post mortem 'inconclusive' pending drink and drugs tests results: Examination carried out this morning still leaves mystery surrounding death

The death of the daughter of musician and campaigner Bob Geldof and late presenter Paula Yates, has so far been described by police as ‘sudden and unexplained’.

I didn’t post anything concerning this yesterday when news broke, but I have been reading as much as I could about it.. The demise of this girl, only 25 years of age and a mother of two beautiful children, is dead.. The death is being said to be “unexplained.” Inconclusive .. all of those mystery words that are somewhat reminiscent of the death of Brittany Murphy.. Drug and alcohol tests are still coming in Geldof’s passing.

The last time I heard any news about Peaches was in November 2013.. She became the subject of an investigation after she Tweeted the names of two mothers in the Ian Watkins case..  The Watkins matter is disturbing.. Lostprophets’ Ian Watkins was sentenced to 35 years for a series of child sex crimes including the rape of a baby.. Watkins said he did not successfully rape the 11-month-old but did admit to attempted rape. That sentencing was in December 2013.

But let’s flash back to November.. Peaches published the names of the mothers involved with Ian Watkins—the mothers who gave their babies to him to be raped. On Twitter, Peaches said that newspapers knowing the names of the women should print them—she then published the names herself but quickly deleted the Tweets .. One Tweet she posted prior to the release of names said that Watkins was a talentless musical hero and that the mothers were “equal in monstrosity.”   The release of the names set off a bitter debate online, and people took to defending Geldof for her right to tell. The amazing part—you know how they say ‘nothing ever vanishes from the internet once it’s printed? The tweet naming the two women vanished. Scrubbed.. like a bad page from 1984, there’s really no mention of it.. Nor is there a mention in the post-mortem summaries anything of Geldof’s insistence on naming the women who helped Watkins rape babies..

We fast forward to April 2014: Geldof is dead at 25.

In one her Gelfof’s final tweets before being found dead, she posted a photograph of her as a child being held closely by her mother… It read “me and my mum.”

I find it strange—maybe purely coincidental—that just a few months after this awful story of Tweets and sentencing occurred, with Peaches being directly at the center of the firestorm, she’s not dead.. And dead at 25. And leaving two children behind—something I doubt she would have wanted to do given her love of her own mother and how much she missed her..

But strange things happen. As do coincidences..

Peaches is gone too soon. Judging from the honest and fiery tweets I read, she seemed to be a grounded and good person. 

And it’s those honest and grounded people who so often don’t live a full life these days.

The God of War aligns with Earth

I was talking my dog late this evening .. there was a beautiful deep orange and red sunset dimming in the West.. I looked to the East while Mutley the dog was using his radar love to find ‘the spot’ to do his deed.. I saw Mars high in the sky—brighter than a typical planet and redder than anything else in the night twilight..It was a beautiful scene. 

Immediately I thought about the photograph I saw this morning of the ‘light on Mars’—though it may turn out to be a simple camera anomaly, it’s deeply wondrous to conjecture up a civilization living on Mars, dodging out of camera sight when the Rovers snap away.. maybe they live underground? Maybe they are in those rocky red mountains.. Maybe it’s all just the mindless ramblings of an imagination while a dog owner patiently waits for his animal to use the gravitational force to find a spot to let loose.

And just then…

I saw the brightest, whitest, and most beautiful light slowly glaze across the night sky. It was huge… it was quiet.. and it was streaming through the air just below the sight of Mars in my vision.

Though anything with space is deceptive, the fireball streaking through my sky this evening was as bright and big as what a full moon would look like to the naked eye.. I do believe a tail was following it.. Most likely some sort of meteor or ….well, maybe even a space craft?? 

Nah… those little green men don’t exist.

But the brilliant light was shocking—so much so that the last thing I wanted to do was take my eyes off of it.. I didn’t even care to take out my phone and snap a photo—and really, it would not have been good enough to brag about anyway with an iPhone’s nighttime inabilities.. 

After I sat down for the evening with a warm cup of tea and cold slice of pizza, I remembered that tonight was the night when the Earth, Mars and the Sun will align tonight..  And this alignment is coming exactly a week prior to the Earth seeing the first in a series of ‘blood moons’—a type of astrological event that some paranoid folk would say portends some good ole’ end times. Just an simple internet search will showcase the oodles upon noodles of people from around the planet who fret the end of the world with the heavenly signs in the sky—John Hagee is one of those folks who said that tonight’s alignment begins a ‘hugely significant event’ for the world.

So he says..
And so lots of people say.

I just know this..

During a quiet moment of pondering my own insignificance and possibly the meaningless or meaningful nature of life—it really can go either way—I saw a big fireball streak across my eyes and vanish overtop of trees near my house.. I don’t equate my vision with anything except this: We are small here on earth.. it’s a dangerous universe out there and we don’t ever really know what will happen or where it will .. 

We do know though that lots of prophets and parasites have come and gone, and they have done their damnedest to damn us.

As for John Hagee?

He always reminded me of someone..

Remember that scene from Stephen King’s STORM OF THE CENTURY where the entire town of people have the same dream of a minister preaching a fiery end times gospel and all of the townsfolk committing mass suicide by jumping into icy Atlantic ocean waters? That’s who John Hagee reminds me of..

Maybe the blood moons will be something big. Or maybe they won’t.

But remember this: Every day is the end of the world for about 150,000 or so people. Every day. And it’s the first day for thousands, too.

This photo is exciting UFO and Mars enthusiasts all around the planet earth.. It shows what looks to be an artificial source of life coming from Mars beamed back to NASA from a rover..

NASA hasn’t commented on the photo yet..

Some say it’s an artificial source of light or perhaps evidence of the famed underground civilization that some think exists on the red planet..

Others are chalky not up to a typical camera anomaly ..

And finally others, including me, are wondering if this is a part of a grand disclosure—Bill Clinton appearing on Jimmy Kimmel talking about aliens and Roswell.. Maybe it’s a plan to accustom us to what will soon vs revealed.

GIFU—A tree grown from a cherry pit that traveled in space five years ago with astronaut Koichi Wakata, now commander of the International Space Station, has bloomed far ahead of what is normal—to the astonishment of botanists.

This is a pretty freaky story—almost like the beginnings of an eerie science fiction story in which trees from space grow so fast that they take over the planet!

Okay.. that’s a big wild.. But really, the idea that a tree that should grow this big in years only took a few..

And even more: The ‘space’ tree only has 5 pedals as opposed to the normal 30..

Botanist Takao Yoshimura, 78, successfully sprouted one of the pits that traveled to the ISS using a method in which he covered the soil with sphagnum moss.

In four years, the young plant has grown to a height of about 4 meters. This spring, it produced about 10 buds, which all were in bloom by April 4.

Yoshimura said it takes 10 years or more for cherry trees to grow flowers, but the young trees produced from cherry pits taken into space have flowered unusually early. Some of the 265 space-traveling cherry pits were planted in Kochi and Yamanashi prefectures after they returned to Earth and they have already come into bloom as well.

Botanist Kaori Tomita, a 56-year-old lecturer at University of Tsukuba who participated in the space cherry project, said that current science can offer no answer for the unusually fast growth of the space cherries.

The other day I wrote about Tommy Lynn Sells' execution..

…and I was not too forgiving of the killer—I suspended by disagreement with the death penalty because of Sells’ crimes and didn’t introduce the notion to my mind to feel bad for him,

But I found this article really interesting: A Chaplain has created a house in Canada where ex-offenders can go to die with dignity..

It brings up the bigger question: What should we do with people on death row or any criminal who has exhausted the forgiveness of society?

In America, we seem to become agitated any time we hear that prisoners get basic rights such as food, water, and books.. We get infuriated when we think about how they drain the tax dollars of money.. (of course we seldom care that pot offenders get hard time and that death row inmates often languish for years even though DNA evidence now may prove them innocent of the crimes).. 

How should a dignified nation treat its criminals? With dignity.. I am good with that.

Maybe except with Sells…

I think we all need to be paying attention to this story.. Not only is humanity having a terrible time in Africa where Ebola has resumed killing, but it’s now a burdensome mission for all nations to stop the spread.

We are more connected than ever.. we travel more than any time in history. And Ebola is as deadly as it has ever been—it appears that it’s newfound mission is to spread beyond the borders of the nations where it dwells..

Maybe go back and watch that deplorably bad 1995 movie OUTBREAK. Graphics are bad and shoulder pads were big.. but it’s a lesson on what we do not want to have happen on this planet.
