For obvious reasons, I am careful when reporting ‘ghosts’ at Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center attacks so many years ago..
But there is an article appearing in the NEW YORK POST about the subject of paranormal activity in relation to the infamous terror attack site.. Gary Busio writes about a number of workers at the Fresh Kills landfill in Staten Island who were sifting the rubble from the 9/11 attacks reported seeing a female ghost holding a tray of sandwiches, a new book reveals..
Other police officers witnessed things, too, like large black masses and shadows. Some comments are mocking the story, others are accepting of it.
I did a bit more research on the book that the NY POST was talking about.
It’s called From Landfill to Hallowed Ground, by Frank Marra. Marra is a retired police officer. He also worked at the Staten Island Landfill World Trade Center Recovery Site from September 2001 until February 2002. The inspiration to write the book obviously came from the work he performed.. It does not seem that the entire book is dedicated to paranormal affairs, but instead offers an historic account of what it was like on the ground during the aftermath of the biggest crime scene in American history..
There are only two reviews at press time on AMAZON.. I think that number will increase with attention.
I am a firm believer that the paranormal is NOT real until it happens to you.
And it would appear many police officers now consider the paranormal to be very real..
A very creepy video.. ominous lightning flickering over New York City.. and One World Trade Center was struck with a bright flash.
The first thing I thought about when seeing the video: The souls of the 8000 body parts are a little angry at the cocktail party on their makeshift grave in the 9/11 Memorial.. Or maybe that’s just how I think.

Forgive me for sounding selfish, but here is what I am thinking today.
I was ten years younger, just turned 21, had a whole life in front of me
My dog Newton still was happily alive
My mom and dad were younger. So was my brother and sister, niece and nephew.
I didn’t meet my wife yet.
I didn’t have my job yet.
I didn’t have this website yet.
I still used AOL instant messenger and ICQ
I didn’t have a child..
I didn’t have a college degree yet.
I had trust in authority.
I had more privacy than I do today.
9/11/01 through 9/11/11… A lot of things around our world changed. And a lot of stuff in our collective lives changed, as did a lot of things in our private lives. Too much for comfort maybe.
…by the time 9/11/21 comes, God knows where we’ll be. But I can tell you 2021 will be here before we know it. Time continues no matter what we do to stop it. No plastic surgery will stop death. No amount of cream will stop wrinkles. No amount of liquor will stop grief. We are all in this together.
Evolution continues. Life continues…as those beams of light from Ground Zero softly go into the air.

Oh yes, 10 years later, we haven’t grown up a bit..
Reliving history right now with Art Bell Somewhere in Time’.. They are rebroadcasting his live 9/11 show as I post this… His voice and bumper music summed up the night perfectly. Listening to this, I still can’t believe the last ten years of my life and this nation’s life have gone into the trash heap of time so fast.. I still remember when he played Phil Collin’s In the Air Tonight and, tearing up as I listened, I was scared.. Sad…
I was 21 and dumb.
Jobless and a night owl. Eager to believe the world was nothing more than an ironic joke. We all grew up fast. The kids of the 20th century were thrown into this cauldron of 21st century war and spy games… It wasn’t supposed to be that way.
But it is. Was. And very much now will apparently always be.
Now they wouldn’t do that, would they?
More news orgs are reporting that the anniversary 9/11 attacks are looking less credible as time goes on…
