Spring fever
This may one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time..
And say what you will about health care and the President, but this was pretty good advertising to use comedy and a video watched by young people to drop serious hints about health care..
Great marketing. And a few good laughs.
These phantom cell calls people are making to the passengers aboard Flight 370 are creepy. The phones ring—no one answers of course. But even weirder, as I write on my other site HORROR REPORT today, now apparently smart phones are ONLINE on a Chinese network QQ..
So odd..
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysia’s military believes it tracked a missing jetliner by radar over the Strait of Malacca, far from where it last made contact with civilian air traffic control off the country’s
As if things weren’t weird already.
Ten nations are looking in vast waters for wreckage. Maybe they shouldn’t be…
Three years after Fukushima..
We’re Fuk-ed.. Radiation begins to hit the West Coast of the Untied States—despite all those experts who said no fear .. radiation is here. Of course it’s also being called ‘low level.’ Low level radiation.. It’s nice to put some happy adjectives before a dreadfully serious word, isn’t it??

If you’ve ever driven to the Bloomsburg fair in Pennsylvania, you may know where this photo was taken. It is from 1901—long before a highway was in the location that a train was then..
I love looking at old photos, such as these.. I can stare for hours and try to figure out what was going through the minds of the cloak-laden men and women of yesterday..
In our modern times, America is filled with dilapidated structures, broken down bridges, and pothole infested highways. Trains are dead.. Malls are dying. The nation is shifting into a lower standard of living. But at one time this nation was thriving.. But here’s some images of the past. It wasn’t great for all, and sometimes for no one.. But these photos of yesterday showcase perfectly that the nation was in its youth and alive with energy and vibrancy. ..
I love the Brits!
And damn, they know how to write a great celebrity gossip column..
Lots of earthquakes are rattling earth just in time for the anniversary of the big Japan quake.. in just the past day a strong 6.9 hit Northern California, a 5.8 rattled Southern Mexico
..and this: Three earthquakes shook Ohio and were felt in Pennsylvania Monday.. .. Some in Ohio called 911 fearing that the earthquake was actually an intruder in their homes.. Marcellus Shale territory .. One result of the earthquakes: Ohio has halted gas drilling near Youngstown. Not that there’s any connection…………….
Love the message of this video.
Poignant.
I am perplexed .. so many rumors abound about Flight 370. But the weirdest one of all: People are apparently calling the cell phones of the passengers from the apparently doomed plane. The phones are ringing.. no one is answering..
Why can’t we get a geo location on these before they go dead? The NSA can find anyone, right?
None of this makes any sense..
It’s dinosaur week at my son’s day care this week..
At my job, it’s dinosaur week every week..
10 to 15 people were involved..
People were actually throwing weights at each other..
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Officials investigating the disappearance of a Malaysian airliner with 239 people on board are narrowing the focus of their inquiries on the possibility that it disintegrated mid-flight
That would explain a few things—such as the lack of any contact informing control that there were problems with flight MH370..
This would also account for the fact that the plane appears to have gone missing..
The unnamed source told Reuters that it appears the plane disintegrated at around 35,000 feet.
A few scenarios now will be explored, surely.. such as a mechanical issue.. terrorism. Or try this: A meteor. Don’t laugh.
This morning, Clyde Lewis posted an old link of someone claiming that flight 800 was a victim of a meteor. Lately we’ve had quite a few meteors and near-earth asteroids.. What if…?
At this point anything is possible.
Another angle being investigated: Interpol probing MORE suspect passports from the missing flight..
Keep this in mind Asteroid 2014 EC flew by Earth Wednesday. It was only discovered Tuesday—which would have given this planet little to no chance to do anything at all about it if it was going to hit.
I cannot understand this.. Asteroids seem to be the biggest story that should be focused on by any politician running for office. If a big one hit, it would have a massive impact without regard to national origin, religion, color, or creed.
But instead, stories of asteroids—and all of science—are regulated to the last bit on the local news. Right after sports. A “fun little story to end the night” accompanied by a joke about how the Earth had a ‘close shave’ .. I hate the term close shave.
How about this: News casters should lose the ‘close shave’ analogy and instead report it this way: “The world almost had a major city obliterated today” or “a world coastline almost was destroyed by a tsunami wave today.” Maybe that will get the attention necessary for this to matter.
Three in one week, and one discovered the day before the potential hit.
That’s not good..
