Politics is a dirty game to begin with, but when violence like we saw this weekend is thrown into the mix, it brews a bad combination of continued vitriol and obnoxious debate. And it forces those who really care about the future to get shouted down by those who don’t and America loses.

Nonetheless, it’s going to be a week filled with hostile rage, debate over ‘ring wingers’ vs ‘left wingers.’ .. And moderates, rationals, and sensibles, all will lose moderation and rationality in their quest for sensible debate.
