Americans prepared to eat 1.25 billion chicken wings on Sunday during the Super Bowl.. 

And how many toilet flushes will that equal across the fruited plain?

This is an image of workers shoveling the MetLife stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey. It ran in a DAILY MAIL story about how the United States is facing such ungodly cold and snow that even the SUPERBOWL may postponed!

That sounds awfully scary. 

What would scare me would be to know you have to shovel an entire stadium even time it snows—and may it look as pretty as possible for an open air Superbowl. Who decided that again….? 

If it snows, unless Chris Christie decides to make a snow cone, chances are it’s going to be messy.

I did a long range forecast look on Accuweather for the Superbowl location. At this time, right now, Superbowl Saturday/Sunday calls for cloudy with snow on Saturday and rain and snow on Sunday. Both days 35 degrees. Bearable temperatures by next weekend.. but the mess of a storm  may blanket the game..

And while other news is occurring and the world is burning, most of our tuned in for the Superbowl rematch. Which is fine. A brief reprieve from the heartache caused by the heartburn of the 24 hour news cycle.

But if I do say so myself, this year seems to be featuring the most deplorable and least funny commercials ever to air during a Superbowl? I am sure some of you will detract from my pronouncement of horrid advertising but I am standing by it..

And as for tonight's game..

The Green Bay Packers have been predicted to win, some say by 2 and as much as 10 by others. Steelers lose by 10? Either all of the prognosticators are correct or the fix is in.. We will see. Not that football is like pro-wrestling or anything…
