It seems never ending..

Goodbye manned space travel, hello galactic robots..
That’s it? Robots? Jeez.. We may as well just send monkeys up in crafts called Sputnik..
What I have been wondering..
Which scenario would be more detrimental and far reaching for humanity:
1) If we were told that aliens were on the way and would be landing in 48 hours.
2) If we were told that new research and proven beyond down that there are NO life forms in space, and earth is 100% proven as the ONLY planet with life.
My thought would be that scenario 2 would equal more chaos on earth. I think if we were told that life was coming here, we’d be humbled. Sure, riots would occur and some violence and bad behavior, but I think for the most part we’d be haunted by that unknowing experience of what was going to occur. But I think in scenario 2, humans who are despots or evil already would feel vindicated of punishment. And then the real hell on a scorched earth would begin. After all, if there are no other lives in the universe, who’d care if there were a few more Holocausts or mass murders…
I think similar responses could be garnered by removing ‘aliens’ from the premise and including God instead. Regardless of belief in God, I think humanity itself would be in chaos were it to be told unequivocally that there is no God and we are alone, all alone, here on earth.
So, readers, followers, and fans alike, I’m curious as to your thoughts. If you’re so inclined, reply to this post, or send me through a message on my open lines page. Maybe the last space shuttle Atlantis blast off has me thinking of these ‘great beyond’ type questions…
Not sure if anyone listened to Coast to Coast AM last night..
But if you did you would have heard Dr. Gregg Korbon share the story of how his 9 year old son, Brian, predicted his own death with remarkable accuracy.. It was moving, amazing.. and mysterious. Despite critics’ comments of George Noory many have, last night’s show why Coast to Coast AM could still matter.
The hands of time never cease to amaze me.
Don’t let time slip by without trying to get every last bit of enjoyment you can..

Stay tuned..
I am going to propose an interesting question (at least in my mind) tomorrow about aliens and the purpose of humans.. Still forming my thoughts but I’ll be eager to get reader and followers’ input.. Stay tuned.
Obama in a summer heat
Fresh from a Twitter town hall with chosen questions, Obama met at the White House with those who oppose him.. Republicans who loudly say they don’t want to increase the debt ceiling but quietly know they will have to .. a president who is grayer than ever before.. the image of the Commander in Chief today was startling.. sweat beading up on his forehead…more wrinkles than he had in the spring…a portrait of a president—and candidate—who doesn’t have the same youthful fire he had in 2008. 2008, when the world seemed to be ready to change..
Change now, some say, may be the GOP’s rally for 2012.. in a nation still not recovered from recession..a depressing recession at that. Manufacturing? Where are you.. service? …not there.. business? Gone. Wall Street? You’re in the money.
It’s going to be a long hot summer. If the image of President Obama has foretelling of anything, a lot more sweating is yet to come..

My favorite movie as a child. I intend on somehow, someway, introducing Ayden to the glory that was Terrence Hill and Ernest Borgnine in Superfuzz
