Baby clothing is awesome

No, really, it is.

My wife’s job threw a baby shower for her yesterday.. Her coworkers are saints. Believe me, they are.. some of the most adorable clothing I’ve ever seen in my life.

It’s almost here.. Ayden Morris is just about to step foot on the planet earth with his own two feet… Counting down the days now.

This song makes me think of Tioga County, PA, on a summer night with a cold can of beer and a warm fire burning in front, with smoke rising up to the star-filled night sky filled with dreams of humanity. Goodnight earth. Enjoy the last waking moments of your week..

My goodness you’re not even here yet and you’re already changing a dining room table..

A must read story for anyone who puts their photos online and sometimes worries about them: What would happen if Flickr fails?

And the same could potentially go for Tumblr, Posterous, Google Blogger (Never Google though) or any other site that relies on ad revenue to survive.

The safest thing to do for those whom worry of their web creations surviving: Constantly back them up. Somewhere.

My God, maybe even on PAPER!

And I ask.. how can this not mean anything but the chance that life is out there.. somewhere, and maybe everywhere!

The BBC puts it this way:

Cosmos-Aztec3 has been described as a “metropolis in the making”, because such clusters are believed to grow like cities, absorbing outlying villages

I suppose it's just another typical Thursday night in Philadelphia...?

A car was found floating in the Schuylkill along Kelly Drive near Fountain Green Drive about 11 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

No one appeared to be inside the car, but investigators were unsure whether a driver or anyone else was in the river

A story of a tragic-heroic at the age of 13

Jordon Rice’s name is now known worldwide tonight for saving his brother’s life.. however he is not alive to share in the limelight on earth.. he is in a hopefully better place.

Jordon and family were being swept away in Australian flood waters when Jordon asked rescue workers to save his brother, Blake, instead. They did, and Jordon and his mother were swept away in the flood waters..

Jordon Rice’s father said,

"I can only imagine what was going on inside to give up his life to save his brother, even though he was petrified of water. He is our little hero."

The world needs more heroes. Sadly, this hero is not with the world anymore…

I can hear the song now! This is the dawning of the age of Ophiuchus.. Sort of has a ring to it.

My God I think I'll have to stop watching this..

A kid just got a spider bite on INFESTED on the Animal Planet, and he went into a great amount of detail about the green puss comng from the open wounds on his arm..

INFESTED..

This may be, without question, the most frightening reality show on TV.. And it’s on the Animal Planet! NOTHING on the Animal Planet, with the exception of zebra being devoured by lions, should be frightening. But this show is.. Very much.

Amazing image of Mount Etna erupting..

It's not just Australia

Brazil deluged..

Fueling worries

Unemployment figures today were less than great news, and now this: OPEC and the world watching oil prices as they near $100 a barrel..

No literally. It can.

I seemingly have had a particularly bad day today. I tend to think the night, however, will be filled with a bright moon and shooting stars. That’s if the clouds clear..
