BRITAIN could freeze in YEARS of super-cold winters and miserable summers if the Bardarbunga volcano erupts, experts have warned.
Not sure if friends in the UK have any more luck than the Americans across the pond saying the name of the volcano, but apparently they will most dramatically be affected first by a big quake—well, after Iceland and global air travel..
It’s not a nuclear winter.. but an Iceland type..
The United Kingdom is about to place sweeping porn filters across networks as a way of reducing the ‘threat’ of porn sites—also it’s been decried as government censorship..
But while Prime Minister Cameron may lament what porn is doing to his nation, one may ask if the true intention is just to censor any content that the government doesn’t want citizens to hear.. such as conspiracy theory — and now there is information that “extremist related content,” eating disorder sites, and sites that talk about smoking and drinking will be banned as well .. you know.. mind porn. The whole idea that this is good is a toxic one no one should go down.. are there reprehensible websites online? Hell yes. But should the government block them….well..maybe some that are criminal. But we are going down a whole new path by forcing sites into the criminal blanket.. This is a very, very scary idea from Cameron—with help from web filter technology already being used in China and Australia..

This is London today, along with many other places in the UK, where thick smog has descended on the continent.. Health officials have said those with asthma or breathing problems should avoid the air and stay indoors.. Also: Don’t exercise outdoors.. This as the thick layer of pre-Easter heat and smog descends on London.

Ricky Gervais today insisted he had not been banned from the Golden Globes after subjecting a room full of speechless American stars to lewd jibes at last night’s ceremony.
He vanished from the stage in the middle of the awards show, leading to speculation that he had been carpeted. Viewers said that when he returned some time later he looked subdued.
A spokesperson for the comedian today called rumours he was chastised by bosses ‘utter rubbish’ fueled by ‘Twitter speculation.’
Gervais insists the the mood backstage was ‘great’ and his extended time away from the camera was planned.
The Brits especially love when Americans are speechless.
