Breakfast.. Caillou on the iPod. And toast and Frosted Flakes. Beginning of a great weekend …

What's your take on everyone trying to over analyze Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's supposed twitter account?

It’s becoming a little tiring If you ask me. So many non experts thinking they are experts..

To a degree it is normal to get to understand his mind, but equally so many who are analyzing it are not psychologists ..

In the short term, i think we actually learn more from talking to classmates and friends. And we will hear from them.

But it shows that twitter could be an accurate technological window to the soul, in a 21st century sense.

Obama said ..

'We refuse to be terrorized.'

So..
Explain that state wide lockdown over a bleeding 19-year-old pothead terrorist who was frantically running.
Or
Does that no fear policy start today?

You may have not like my last post, but I hope you'll like my most current.

I like all your posts!

Who works in the silly meme factory?

Whenever a big news want occurs, my Facebook page seems to immediately get overrun by strange and silly cartoons, photos, and memes. Often they express patriotism in a tacky way, often are littered with spelling mistakes, and rarely are anything I ‘Like.’

But where do they come from? Who makes them within seconds of news events? Is there a Silly Meme Factory Co. out there somewhere?

I used to think, when big protests occurred in the Middle East, that it was amazing how many giant signs existed, like huge ass signs with pictures of American leaders or world figures. I thought at those times that there was a giant sign factory.

Maybe the giant sign company went technological and branches into the silly Facebook meme industry.

So I ask, in my quest to find the source of these annoyingly bad pictures, did YOU ever make a meme? Do YOU claim any responsibility in causing the prolific industry to boom?

i was really hoping this was fake but its not

Amazing sinkhole video from
Chicago.. This is not fake, it’s real. But notice the cop in the background who seems to have virtually no reaction during the video. That part at least made me chuckle. The rest sure didn’t.

Waterloo in Watertown..

It was a unbelievable day of news.. it was beyond wild.. beyond odd and strange.. beyond fortean.

Entire towns were locked down. Almost an entire state stayed indoors.

But I end with this until I post again tomorrow:  Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev  was not read his Miranda Rights. There was a public safety exception invoked.

This will now be a debated point of contention.. we will hear a lot about it. Maybe.

Or maybe not.

Maybe we won’t care..

But if we don’t care, what does that say?
ABC news reports:

A senior Justice Department official told ABC News that federal law enforcement officials are invoking the public safety exception to the Miranda rights, so that Tsarnaev will be questioned immediately without having Miranda rights issued to him.
The federal government’s high value detainee interrogation group will be responsible for questioning him.
The Miranda exemption exists to protect the public safety from another attack, according to the official.

May everyone have a safe evening, what’s left of it.
An ordeal is over.
But what ordeal is next..?
