Interesting to hear how the trailblazer of internet success is now riding the same highway he paved, noticing all of the bumps and intersections filled with traffic due to his own creativity and success.

A lot of people hate Matt Drudge. But he was the first blog before anyone knew what one was.. he Tweeted before Twitter.. and he was 24/7 while everyone else was just dialing up. He changed the internet at the very beginning and everyone else tried to mock his success..

And it all started with a siren that will live in infamy.

Matt Drudge tweeted “have an exit plan” .. And Clyde Lewis became quite freaked out about it, enough so that if was the topic of his show last night..

The Drudge ‘have an exit plan’ tweet has raised lots of people’s eyebrows and concerns.. 

Mac Slavo wrote that he thinks Drudge’s tweet is evidence of insider information about something dramatically awful occurring soon.. 

Yet again.. Drudge sums up the feelings of America today best.

Matt Drudge was right

15 years ago, the Internet pioneer was remarkably prophetic about where journalism was headed.

Interesting story.. And he was right, regardless of your opinion on him. He called this one..

Every era of news reporting has a pioneer.. And often they are flawed, often we’re in awe.. but in the end they are human.

Reporters 15 years ago had disdain for Drudge. They may have more now that he turned out to be spot on..

This is just a weird piece of journalism.. New York TIMES warns Matt Drudge to watch his posture..

Yes, Drudge, we get it. Sexual innuendo. Clever.

But the story is strange to say the least.. Janet Napolitano is being sued by males for filling top positions with females who were hell-bent, the lawsuit says, on treating male staffers like dogs…

According to the suit, male staffers were ‘banished to bathrooms’ and humiliated. 

I’m guessing we will be hearing about this for a while—which gives many more opportunities for Matt Drudge to place photos with hidden meanings on the top of his site.

And now, here’s we why the Drudge Report still matters. He can still come up with amazingly tacky, yet comically witty, headlines about bad news. This one made me crack up..
