This is a good first step though.. now if they take the REST of the plastic and garbage out of their product, we will get somewhere.
Food CAN BE fast. And healthy.. It is just up to consumers to demand it. Thanks to the FOOD BABE and others like her, it’s happening..

Remember when every laughed at the woman who sued after being burned by hot coffee at McDonalds? She was the villain everyone loved to hate.
Fast forward to 5 minutes into this video and see what really happened to this ‘money hungry villain’..
It’s no surprise. The site was completely out of touch with reality..
There was one section on the mock budget that left a line for second income—perhaps an acknowledgment that Mcdonalds money alone will not assist you living.
There’s a lot of debate lately about the wages Mickey Ds pays—and the lack of them. I heard some in the debate argue that making more than minimum wage is just too much for flipping burgers—but that argument discounts one important factor, that flipping burgers and the service economy as a whole is the new American job!
There isn’t much manufacturing .. Tech development in the United States is behind so many other nations.. Fast food and restaurant work is here to stay—until the robots take over I guess ..
But it really is a big economic issue.. The fact that so many, often including college graduates, are with left with no jobs besides service work, makes me almost think it propels the debate into an uncharted territory..
I don’t eat fast food much, but I have worked in restaurants most of my life and have a dream of owning one in the future .. (Distant future as I look at my
Bank account).. And I can tell you: One income from a restaurant is not enough to survive.
When will it become unethical to keep calling these chemically produced deep fried containers of bone and fat ‘chicken’? Sounds like now..

Not lovin’ it: McDonalds “Chicken” McNuggets contain 60% fat, bone, and cartilage.. It’s not big shock, if you have ever had to eat the so-called food product before, you’ll know that it goes far beyond mystery meat.. it’s a meatless mystery—and now we see it’s filled with bones, veins, and all the tissue that couldn’t be served up in a better place.

According to information being reported in the UK, ice in six out of ten restaurants has more bacteria than water from the toilets .. and it would make sense. Anyone who worked in a restaurant knows the perils of the ice machine—the mold, the mildew, and the bacteria..
Those machines must be cleaned.
But interestingly enough, it’s not just McDonalds and Burger King that was found in the UK to have the issue, but also Starbucks too..
One comical suggestion from a reader:

And good they did.. It took about 4 minutes to get my scalding hot coffee that tasted just a bit too strong.
