I do believe I have heard the hum here in Pennsylvania. It’s most evident during snowstorms when no cars or rolling or moving.. I don’t think it ever shook my bed, though.. However, according to this UK TELEGRAPH article the HUM is strong enough to do just that to the residents of Woodland, in County Durham..
