And if you couldn’t guess already, it’s because they want to dominate just about everything that you do in your daily life..

The vision is to turn homes into something not entirely unlike “The Jetsons.” Ovens, refrigerators, crock-pots, door locks and light switches would all be tied to the Internet. Homeowners would be able to control everything using an app, no matter where they are. Imagine turning on the oven from work so that dinner is waiting when you get home or letting the maid in the front door while on relaxing at the beach. Connected homes are expected to make for a huge market. Sales of the technology are expected to pass $40 billion in the next five to seven years, according a Gene Munster, an analyst for Piper Jaffray.
It always gives me a chuckle to think of my own personal history with Google (we all have one by now, right?) When I first started my quest for information on the superhighway back in the late 20th century, I found this ugly little website named Google. I realized that no matter what I searched for, it turned up the results I needed.. My friends on their Alta vista or their Yahoo! never had as much luck as me.. they scoffed at my Google.. they laughed at it.
That was long before Googling boyfriends or potential employees was in vogue.
Now? you wake up and search Google for weather, sports, news, and traffic. You look up pornography, you search for people.. you try to find obscure facts about trivia to amaze your friends and family.
But yet with all the domination, Google still can’t come up with a user friendly blogging platform—and God forbid you insert links in their iPhone app!
Nonetheless, they are on the verge of controlling all the stuff they don’t yet.
Time for others are running out..
Google is dominating..
