U.S. kids among least fit in the world - NY Daily News:

America’s kids ranked 47 out of 50 countries measuring aerobic fitness — a key factor for overall health — in a study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. By comparison, Tanzania, Iceland, Estonia, Norway and Japan raced away with the top five slots. The least fit country: Mexico… We aren’t far behind.

My son had received a bookmark at school today with a breakdown of the standard American food pyramid.. It was obviously meant to generate good eating habits.

But maybe those good eating habits aren’t good? Maybe we failed.

I have been DESPERATE to have my own child make good eating decisions.. At 5, it’s tough.. but what would happen if schools begins to portray the benefits of REALLY good eating and not the processed food pyramid devised by giant corporations?

Maybe a country with fit kids–kids fitter than the near bottom in the entire world of kids..

Wikileaks bombshells

Forget Trump.. Forget Hillary.. And ignore that nonsense that Wikileaks is an arm of Russia .. There are some amazing tidbits in the Wikileaks document dump that just occurred.

Yes, Donna Brazille was a leaker.. And yes, Hillary didn’t really think much of the terror threat.

But there is something bigger and larger in the Wikileaks emails that matter: The Podesta files.

John Podesta has been a long time Clinton confidante for years. He will most likely be very involved with any potential Clinton (part 2) Administration. And he is highly interested in UFOs and finding the truth about hidden alien files within the government..

While the mainstream media is (unfairly by the way) not paying much attention to the Wikileaks files, they should be. Mostly for the Podesta emails…

I am personally going to research more in depth what is actually within the files over the coming days.. I will scour and report back to you faithful readers about the the contents. You can also do the same yourself.

But when someone tells you the Wikileaks documents don’t matter, put aside the normal right vs left political nonsense and realize that the Podesta files really, really matter a lot.

One priceless personal event occurred. I was watching the debate with some family when, as Donald Trump began bringing up Bill Clinton’s past, the power in my house blinked about 7 times until finally going off.  My niece loudly pondered, “Have we been bombed because of him!?” 

When power resumed about 20 minutes later I was able to watch the rest of the debate in the light. Thought it felt very very dark..

Something has changed in politics. And last night it felt like it changed even more.. much more.

29 days of this left to go .. and Trump could make it a ‘living hell’ for Hill….with flies on her face and all..

Clinton’s comments – she apparently told an audience that her “dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders” – are at odds with statements she has made on the campaign trail in which she has called for more restrictive trade policies in order to protect American workers.
In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper that aired Sunday on “State of the Union,” Tapper asked Kaine if his running mate really desires “a hemispheric common market with open borders sometime in the future,” as was written in a transcript of a 2013 closed-door speech she apparently gave to Brazilian bankers that was included in one of the hacked emails.

Beyond the Miss Universe issue, which emerged late in the debate, Trump also repeatedly interrupted Clinton in their opening contest and grew defensive as she challenged his business record.

He has reportedly reviewed video of the debate, and his aides have stressed a need to stay calm and not let Clinton attacks get under his skin in the second of three contests. The final debate is Oct. 19 and will be hosted by the Fox News Channel at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Both candidates are off the campaign trail Saturday to prepare for Sunday’s contest.
