Japanese androids not only held this news conference, but they also chatted with baby droids..

That was the scene on Tuesday in Tokyo when the androids Kodomoroid and Otonaroid introduced a new pair of communication robots developed by an Osaka-based company, Vstone, and its partners.

Sota and CommU, each about 30cm tall, engaged in dialog with their full-sized counterparts at the Miraikan technology museum as journalists looked on, entranced. The smaller, tabletop droids can only move their arms and upper bodies, but spoke in cute Japanese resembling the speech of a toddler.

Also they may be hitting the market around April..

I was blocked by two trucks on south bound I-95 at exit 9 in NJ (New Brunswick exit). I only wanted to take a picture while i was awaiting for them to clear up… And then I heard a noise from behind…I was barely missed.
UPDATE (moved from the bottom of the description, since no one bothers to read it): Once I turned off camera, I called in 911 and reported the accident. After that I came to the truck and the rest of the cars to verify they were alright. After arrival of NJ State Trooper and his dismissal confirming that he does not require my presence, I left the scene.

Well.. that video is horrific, no?
I am perplexed more than anything as to why the video recorder is not freaked and screaming..

Seriously may be one of the scariest real videos I have ever seen showcasing the unnerving power of black ice..

Sort of bizarre.. PCN’s coverage of Tom Wolf’s inauguration has been showing this guy for quite some some. I think he’s testing some stuff.. or did he just step in front of the camera? Even more.. he looks like a cross between Michael Moore and Kevin Smith,

At one point, as noted in the photo, he looked pretty enthusiastic that so many people were seeing him instead of the new Governor..

In this tweet, @BigJoeBastardi is talking about a storm I have also been watching for this weekend.. At this point, the model he speaks of is forecasting a big hit on the East Coast..

Something I would truly not like.. my wife is set for a plane flight home this Saturday night. A MECS would be a troubling issue for that …

There’s another storm possible even AFTER this one 120 hours out—lots of time to go and lots of moving and shaking of models may still occur. We don’t know until we are about 38-48 hours away..
