New company claims they'll be able to RESURRECT THE DEAD by the year 2045!! ENTREPRENEUR Josh Bocanegra says his new company Humai area aiming to bring the dead back to life

The new company are aiming to “extend and enhance life" by freezing human brains for extended periods of time using cryonics, a deep freezing technology using very low temperatures, and then putting them into artificial bodies.
But Josh claims the company’s ultimate goal is to preserve a human brain BEFORE a person dies.

Creepier than Google Glass? A third eye in the middle of your head

CNET reporting “There’s a camera permanently strapped in the middle of your head. It’s on a headband. The camera has got autofocus and is high-definition.
Whenever you want to take a picture, you tap the headband. You can even post directly to your favorite social medium.”

Someone needs to watch BLACK MIRROR to get a cautionary tale on his before proceeding.. Can’t we see what could go wrong?
In the same light, it’s only natural that this would be the next step in the progression and technological development of humanity.

Now when it gets implanted in your head? Perhaps that’s the moment it gets creepy.

A MAJOR SOLAR FLARE CAUSING LOW NORTHERN LIGHTS.. AND A PLAN FROM OBAMA?

I have been paying a lot of attention over all of my years on this site blogging and clogging up the networks about solar flares and the like.. See evidence here (http://coalspeaker.com/tagged/solar-flare) ..

Tonight, there is a chance that northern lights will be as low as my state of Pennsylvania.. that’s a big deal. Far down here. It was a major solar flare and storm that obviously caused such an event.

And such an event could be a catastrophe..  And now timing from the Obama Administration couldn’t be more impeccable. A solar flare awareness is evident.. hopefully cool non-flared heads will prevail and this nation will advance beyond 20th century technology and insulate our grid. It would be a stunning achievement for the President–call it a new Dwight Eisenhower interstate system.. it could create jobs and maintain future economy might and security.

A failure?

That could be awful.

As FOX news reports, about the White House plan and obvious dangers:

“The efforts undertaken to achieve the objectives of this strategy will establish a national approach to the security and resilience in the face of our improved understanding of the seriousness of the space-weather risk, and the steps we must take to prepare for it,” Suzanne Spaulding, undersecretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s National Protection and Programs Directorate, said Thursday during an event hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) that discussed the new documents.

That risk is indeed serious, many experts say. High-energy solar flares aimed at Earth can affect the operation of orbiting satellites, and the most powerful emissions can even pose a risk to astronauts aboard the International Space Station.

Of even larger concern are coronal mass ejections (CMEs), huge eruptions that send clouds of solar plasma streaking through space at millions of miles per hour. CMEs that hit Earth can spawn intense geomagnetic storms, with the potential to disrupt power grids, satellite navigation and radio communications temporarily.

In March 1989, for example, a strong CME caused a blackout that left 6 million people in the Canadian province of Quebec without power for 9 hours, OSTP Director John Holdren said during Thursday’s event, which was webcast live.

The news just so happens to coincide with a major solar storm.

All of earth should take notice.

Losing your head over a head transplant ..
Headline:

Russian man volunteers to undergo controversial 36-hour head transplant procedure

The story is causing concern. Fear. Anger.
But if you were Valery Spiridinov, wouldn't you want this to work, too?

Water wars coming. The next crime wave is predicted

I recall a documentary I saw back in the late 1990s, it was some sort of bad TV special--bad in acting and producing--that predicted what the next fifty or so years of life may be like. Some talked about Nostrodamus, others just predicted based off of scientific research. One particular thing stuck in my mind: The possibility of 'waters wars,' with shortages and droughts people would be forced to fight and become adversaries just for a drop of liquid.

These were TIME covers from the late 90s and early 2000s..

How times changed.

Judging from those news stand editions, you know that the people of the time, those crazy humans, cared about privacy and wanted to protect their information. Fast forward to the modern age.. Privacy is so 2000 and late.

Now people tell researchers that aren’t worried much about government eavesdropping or their digital life being known to the world.. As a matter of fact, the common consensus is, if we’re not doing anything wrong, why worry?  Why so serious..

Here is how the Kansas City STAR reports it and why it is troubling to privacy activists (they still exist?):

Americans - more than Web users abroad, experts say - have come to accept a semi-public digital life. Private businesses make billions of dollars from sweeping up the crumbs of information digital users leave behind. In exchange for all that secret data, private businesses offer a relatively seamless and low-cost Web experience most consumers prefer.
Privacy software can be expensive and is almost always clumsy. And the government wants in: Citing security concerns, the authorities seek “backdoor” access to email accounts and phone records.
So privacy experts are stepping up efforts to convince consumers of the need for digital privacy. A fundamentally private Web won’t be a reality, they say, until ordinary Americans demand broad protection from government and business intrusion into their phone and computer use.
"If anyone in society is going to have privacy, then everybody has to have privacy," said Alan Fairless, CEO of SpiderOak, a company that offers encrypted data storage for consumers.
Some early-adopting digital-savvy consumers have started to seek out and invent privacy protection tools, he said. That work may eventually trickle down more broadly to less tech-handy cellphone users and Web surfers.

The future is now.
Privacy is dead.

Police investigate complaints of drone following children!

HEY  KIDS, WELCOME TO EARTH.. WHERE CREEPY PERVERTS WILL FOLLOW YOU AROUND WITH DRONES. ENJOY THE STAY..

Well, of course the creepy perv route hasn’t been officially taken yet, but it’s sure the first thing to pop into my mind.

Sometimes I wish we could go back to 2002 when mainstream media denied drones were coming and called those saying they were kooks and conspiracy theorists.. Those were the days..

If I become president, I will declare that all drones operated by perverts must be equipped with brown curtains. Because every van I ever saw with brown curtains certainly exemplified filth and a deplorable human being to me..

The wired brain of tomorrow is coming sooner than you think

Google may be planning something big for your brain! A microchip to heal the world!? I have said many times, for better or worse, that this is the future: The phone will trend to implantable devices.

We will become one with the internet, and become it, giving it life.. we will also have the ability to search our body for the problems… if we are sick, we can perform a search and find the ailment. Eventually we will be able to print new organs.

This is all coming faster than expected–as outlandish as it sounds, it really is not science fiction.

The true question: Will the rich keep the spoils for themselves or allow some goodness to spill out? Or will human beings, for the most part, ruin the goodness that all of this will bring by perverted it with power, greed, gluttony, and murder?

    Robot eat Dog world

The future is now.. robots are replacing human beings in most lines of work. The service industry and manufacturing base is collapsing.. Even actors may be replaced by digital versions.. And now this: Goodbye guide dogs.. Robots on reins about to take their work..

Sirius founder envisions world of cyber clones, tech med

Oh but there’s so much more than just robots taking out the trash.. try this:

At the keynote, Rothblatt described how the inevitable emergence of cyber consciousness – when machines act with a sophistication and thought level equal to that of humans – will not be overnight but a more subtle evolution.
"Every company will try to out-Siri Siri until we have consciousness," she said, referring to the Apple/iOS application that works as a personal assistant and navigator. "It will be like water that rises and rises and rises and, before we know it, we’re in an ocean of cyber consciousness."

    And then what?
Lots of choices are coming for humanity. Lots of choices will not have to be made—and actually a lot of misery and heartache may occur as advancements become cruel to people trying to live out out their lives.

Progress.. The future. It’s all good. Until it goes bad.. Until one of those thinking machines thinks too much..

And I wonder, sometime about 1000 years from now, will robots ponder ‘who created me? Why am I here? What happens when I turn off?”   We do. And we think. Or so we are told we think..

Rick Jervis in USA TODAY goes on to report:

Artificial intelligence and robotics have been key – and controversial – themes at this year’s SXSW. A slew of panel discussions and keynote speeches on the topic have drawn thousands of attendees, while films screening at the film festival portion of SXSW, such as Ex Machina and Creative Control, have addressed it in their plot lines.
The themes have also prompted protests outside the conference warning of an over-reliance on artificial intelligence to the detriment of humans. In one, a group of protestors held signs reading “Stop the Robots” while chanting “A-I Say Goodbye!”
Rothblatt said robots and humans don’t have to choose sides – such as in the plotlines seen in popular Hollywood movies – but will live in a peaceful co-existence that will make them virtually indistinguishable from one another.
"It’s not us versus cyberspace," she said. "We’re merging together."
She added: “We don’t want to create a new slave-versus-free motif. I’m all for merging everyone together. On the level of consciousness, we’re all one.”

    We are all one.
Skin and bones. Gear and bytes.. We are the world.

    We are the future..

Would you be comfortable with an interactive Barbie that not only records your child’s voice but also uploads them to a cloud? It’s exists . And now child advocates want the toy production to be halted… Good luck fighting this.. my guess is even if the Barbie is banned now another one will come along soon..

If our washing machines will record us in our homes our Barbies will too..
