Japanese androids not only held this news conference, but they also chatted with baby droids..

If you find lifelike robots unnerving, try attending a news conference held by a pair of androids.

That was the scene on Tuesday in Tokyo when the androids Kodomoroid and Otonaroid introduced a new pair of communication robots developed by an Osaka-based company, Vstone, and its partners.

Sota and CommU, each about 30cm tall, engaged in dialog with their full-sized counterparts at the Miraikan technology museum as journalists looked on, entranced. The smaller, tabletop droids can only move their arms and upper bodies, but spoke in cute Japanese resembling the speech of a toddler.

Also they may be hitting the market around April..

This somewhat reminded me of the episode BE RIGHT BACK of the BLACK MIRROR series, where a woman was able to purchase an android version of her deceased lover..

I was blocked by two trucks on south bound I-95 at exit 9 in NJ (New Brunswick exit). I only wanted to take a picture while i was awaiting for them to clear up… And then I heard a noise from behind…I was barely missed. 
UPDATE (moved from the bottom of the description, since no one bothers to read it): Once I turned off camera, I called in 911 and reported the accident. After that I came to the truck and the rest of the cars to verify they were alright. After arrival of NJ State Trooper and his dismissal confirming that he does not require my presence, I left the scene.

I am perplexed more than anything as to why the video recorder is not freaked and screaming.. 

Seriously may be one of the scariest real videos I have ever seen showcasing the unnerving power of black ice..

Sort of bizarre.. PCN’s coverage of Tom Wolf’s inauguration has been showing this guy for quite some some. I think he’s testing some stuff..  or did he just step in front of the camera? Even more.. he looks like a cross between Michael Moore and Kevin Smith,

Tom Wolf, who becomes the Governor of Pennsylvania tomorrow, is making some history already.. he nominated Dr. Rachel Levine to the office of physician general. She’s a transgender woman.. But much more importantly, she has an impressive record and amazing reputation among people who know her..

Historic, yes.. But deeper I think than the skin deep issues are the ideals she possesses.. Perhaps a new take on medicine is coming to the Keystone State. Long overdue if that occurs!
