The unheard of fact is becoming very commonplace, the elderly are drying up (no pun intended) and the tourism is suffering. Plus casinos in Pennsylvania, right near me, now attract those seniors who once went on three hour bus tours to the Jersey shore.. The latest casino to close looks to be Trump Plaza–and this is the fourth! There’s something inside my that wonders if Atlantic City will become the next Asbury Park.. Towering but vacant buildings, a beach with no one on ..The once fabled Atlantic City is currently in free-fall form .. And summer business is bad. Maybe it’s time for Bruce Springsteen to write a new song.
