The Hollywood Reporter tells all..
Oscar Voter Reveals Brutally Honest Ballot
You may have seen this—or heard this—before..
Best not to listen with your lights down..
The possible true story behind this audio is that it was a famous radio hijacking.. the alien sounds replace the classical music being played.. about two minutes into the clip, the female voice begins to rhythmically recite names of people who died during the Pan Am bombing from the 1980s.. There’s more on the clip here.. There’s also some debate, on some boards, as to when the actual audio was recorded..
The audio has been online for over a year.. there are countless message boards, including this REDDIT thread, of people debating if they should even listen—and if they did, would they experience a “RING” like fate..
I was first introduced to the file by Clyde Lewis’ radio program last year.. I never quite got it out of my head, and last night Lewis played the file again during his program on weird radio transmissions and numbers stations.
While it’s really not known if this event actually occurred or if it’s a big hoax, or some sort of publicity stunt from years ago, this is what is apparent: The tape is freaky, frightening, and downright chilling.
If you listen, you may want to wait until daybreak.. Unless you’re into things that go bump—or squelch—in the night.
I love Clyde Lewis. What can I say but that..
He’s an incredibly gifted radio personality.. he has the spirit of Art Bell and often the anger of Alex Jones, but is so much more talented than others who host nationally syndicated shows—especially those old ones with mustaches who attempt hosting..
Last night he had an already unforgettable show.. I just got through it and may very well listen again.
The show’s topic was ‘radio activities.’ Creepy sounds over shortwave, AM, and FM bands.. Famous historical hijacks of television stations.. weird numbers stations being played late in the night.. Odd sounds and voices coming from stations that seem to portend messages of doom. That and more discussed last night on Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis..
I recommend you give it a listen in your spare time.
With the lights off, of course..

My Daily Doodle.. certainly not as macabre as Ayden’s interpretation of the goings on at a dentist, but weird nonetheless.
An orange beats an apple.. while riding a banana. It was the dull drawing of a long day .. It’s all I got.
I eat fruit. What can I say. It was in front of me.

Harold Ramis is dead.. pretty sad news.
This is from the AP report on the death:
Ramis was surrounded by family in his Chicago home, where he’s lived since 1996, when he died early this morning from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, his wife Erica Mann Ramis told the Chicago Tribune.
Ramis was 69.
And he was responsible for laughs, smiles, and amazing roles in movies.
Godspeed Harold Ramis..
I hope you find peace and solace on the other side.. you gave us good memories.

It’s a snail!
It’s a pain!
IT’S THAT GUY
The man who lives in a shade of gray.
My Daily Doodle presented in color. Not living color. Unless you’ve seen the Mythical Creature who lurks in offices or near copy machines, the man who saves staples and paper clips, the man who eats cold meat sandwiches for lunch every day: That Guy..
In the article about the shaking, Accuweather points out one historic fact that hopefully will not get repeated:
“One of the most infamous occurred in 1692 when a 7.5-magnitude quake dismantled the city of Port Royal, Jamaica. Much of the city was submerged under water, and thousands of people lost their lives.”

Her concert’s like a wrecking ball.. Miley Cyrus is desperate to stay relevant (and obviously Googled “1990s + Bill Clinton) .. She is staging a Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky moment during her song PARTY IN THE USA.. You can read more about it here if you’d like.. But I wonder, what will this do for Hillary’s plans to run in 2016..?
I’m not done yet!
Another story from Miley’s BANGERZ TOUR.. she is making out with Katy Perry. We know already that Katy has successful sold her soul to the devil long ago.. Miley is just clumsily trying to do the same.
You may have seen this article before, or the concept of it: Toys that are made so much more valuable after many years because they were never opened from their original packages.
In this case, 18 MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE toys worth hundreds of dollars each if they maintain themselves in their cardboard casings from the 1980s.
But I think back.. there’d certainly be no way as a child I would have chosen to NOT open these toys.. and even more, what’st he point? Sure, there’s monetary value now on them, but.. the endless hours and rivalries on my bedroom floor that I imagined would have been nonexistent.
And that’s completely worthless…

This is the last time Iâm going to talk about my personal life in an American publication ever again.
A very interesting article and interview from VULTURE .. Alec Baldwin says MSNBC didn’t pay him, he says he loathes the media.. and he pages Holden Caulfield with this quote about Rachel Maddow:
I think Rachel Maddow is quite good at what she does. I also think she’s a phony who doesn’t have the same passion for the truth off-camera that she seems to have on the air
Ouch…
Happy birthday Ayden..
3?
Seriously?
Already?
Infrequent updates this weekend due to the preparations for and the having of a 3rd birthday party for Ayden Morris. My son is three.. I cannot fathom the consequences of that for him, let alone me and my wife.. Three years of memories already.. three everything. Good things come in threes, even years I suppose.

You really don’t know how bad potholes are until you transport a large ninja turtles cake in your trunk.
I am having some youthful flashbacks to my childhood in Centralia. The best images of the town as it was as I was growing up actually come from a mediocre movie called MADE IN USA.
This is the town I was born and raised in.. and the ruins I grew up in..
It has been about a year and a month since I lost a friend to cancer. She was a brave soul who endured agony before she passed away.. She was young—at least I look at her that way since she graduated the same year as me from high school, and I’m not old, right?
It is somewhat weird that Facebook pages never die .. We can pass from this existence, but the words and ‘likes’ we had will remain so as long as Mark Zuckerberg and the NSA permit it..
My friend’s name was Lori.. I visited her Facebook page the other night and realized that people were still actively posting messages to her.. sending love .. actively asking for her to help them. Grieving never stops, perhaps.. And maybe with technology it is evolving. Does it help or hurt to be able to constantly go back to someone’s Facebook, or Twitter, or blog? After all, a visit to the page could make it seem like they’re still here, somewhere.
And maybe they are.
Alexander Graham Bell often visited seances. Some think his invention of the telephone was meant to help the deaf.. others wonder if Bell, like all of us, were searching for a way to speak to the dead and ponder an afterlife. The mystery of EVPs has been around for centuries.. are they recordings of ghostly apparitions, wandering the earth? Or are they just a recording of the endless loop of life—a recording of what we say that replays over and over again? We are told by paranormal ‘experts’ that Bell had those questions. He didn’t find an answer—but his invention led us to years of creepy stories of the dead calling their loved ones after they left the earth.
I wonder how long until we hear from people who claim that the dead updated their Facebook accounts.. I wonder how long until the dead do it—if the dead are powerful enough to do such things.. And that takes into consideration the fact that an afterlife would be existent. And if there was one, it would have to have a few dull moments that people would rather update a Facebook status as opposed to playing musical instruments with angelic figures…
I don’t say this in mocking. As a matter of fact, I am quite surprised that there are no movies or scary stories to tell in the dark regarding Facebook, or Twitter.
It is a little eerie to me to visit Lori’s Facebook page a year and some time later after she lost her battle to cancer.. The photos of her struggles remain.. her hometown remains, as though she’s still there. Her profile picture remains.. as though it’s still current. And the messages to her are continuous, as though she is still alive.
It’s the new way we deal with grief and pain. And there is nothing wrong with it. Any way we try to cope is healthy—it shows we are actively trying to get a hold on our emotions and become mentally stable with the tragedy that life can be..
Alexander Graham Bell was quoted once as saying this,
I have been thinking for some time of a machine or apparatus which could be operated by personalities who have passed on to another existence or sphere. I believe that if we are to make any real progress in psychic investigation, we must do it with scientific apparatus and in a scientific manner.
Maybe one day that apparatus will be Facebook….when a lost soul responds to friends who miss them. Just imagine that premise next time you post a message on a deceased friend’s wall…
