This could be a turning point in this Administration and its relationship with the press.
It was the longest honeymoon of all time.. But every page must turn..

Prosecutors have sought phone records from reporters before, but the seizure of records from such a wide array of AP offices, including general AP switchboards numbers and an office-wide shared fax line, is unusual.
In the letter notifying the AP received Friday, the Justice Department offered no explanation for the seizure, according to Pruitt’s letter and attorneys for the AP. The records were presumably obtained from phone companies earlier this year although the government letter did not explain that. None of the information provided by the government to the AP suggested the actual phone conversations were monitored.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative’s top executive called a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into how news organizations gather the news.
The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.
A jury has found Philadelphia abortion provider Dr. Kermit Gosnell guilty on three counts of first-degree murder…
The ‘local crime’ story comes to an end (sarcasm)
Justice truly served … Well done, jury, well done.
A report claims that the IRS audit scandal goes deeper: The Wall Street Journal and Reuters both reported that the IRS moved beyond giving a skeptical eye to “tea party” and “patriot” groups. It was also targeting groups focusing on specific issues including “government spending,” “government debt,” “Education of the public via advocacy/lobbying to ‘make America a better place to live,’” and all groups that “criticize[d] how the country is being run.”
Headlines greeting millions of Americans today. Red states, blue states, and purple states.
Sounds like we have a serious issue on our hands, regardless of party or pride.
The description of this video: Ice Heaves pushed up from Mille Lacs Lake onto the Resort grounds and damaged homes within 15 minutes. Date Taken: 05/11/2013 around 9:30 am
And then the story:
Amazing, unbelievable video. You have got to see it to believe it..
A dispatcher says four children and two adults have died in a house fire in eastern Pennsylvania. Schuylkill (SKOO’-kul) County emergency dispatch supervisor Bill Lindenmuth says the fire broke out around 11:55 p.m. Sunday at a home in Pottsville and that firefighters later found the bodies…
The AP has picked up the sad news this site and others reported early this morning.. A tragic fire here in my area.
However, I am humored that national news has to explain how to pronounce Schuylkill..
A fatal fire… Perhaps an entire family killed in Pottsville, PA last night.
I saw images of the fire on Facebook. Sadly the people in this house didn’t stand a chance judging from what I saw..
I hate these events no matter where they are. This one is too close to home, however..
It is Mother’s Day, May is halfway over, and right now the temperature outside my Pennsylvania home hovers around 40°..
This spring has thus far been quite questionable, I can only imagine it will continue like this or a surge of people start and never end..
