11 things I am thinking about on 9/11
Forgive me for sounding selfish, but here is what I am thinking today.
I was ten years younger, just turned 21, had a whole life in front of me
My dog Newton still was happily alive
My mom and dad were younger. So was my brother and sister, niece and nephew.
I didn’t meet my wife yet.
I didn’t have my job yet.
I didn’t have this website yet.
I still used AOL instant messenger and ICQ
I didn’t have a child..
I didn’t have a college degree yet.
I had trust in authority.
I had more privacy than I do today.
9/11/01 through 9/11/11… A lot of things around our world changed. And a lot of stuff in our collective lives changed, as did a lot of things in our private lives. Too much for comfort maybe.
…by the time 9/11/21 comes, God knows where we’ll be. But I can tell you 2021 will be here before we know it. Time continues no matter what we do to stop it. No plastic surgery will stop death. No amount of cream will stop wrinkles. No amount of liquor will stop grief. We are all in this together.
Evolution continues. Life continues…as those beams of light from Ground Zero softly go into the air.

Staring at the sun

On Sept. 9th and 10th, Northern Lights were spotted in the United States as far south as Washington, Wisconsin, Vermont, Montana, Maine, Minnesota and North Dakota
Are you ready for some football!? Strange event as one college game was delayed.. wonder who the spacecraft-drivers were rooting for?
Notre Dame game delayed by weather—and a UFO?
Spectators watched the UFO as Notre Dame game was at a standstill..
It may be a hoax.. but I sure remember lots of people believing it after 9/11 latimes:

We got a special request from a reader to spread the word that this is a fake photo. Yes, it’s a hoax.
I mean really.. how could a photo survive that blast!!! Oh wait.. a passport of a hijacker was found intact after the tragic day in the wreckage. So many this photo is just real after all….?
9/11: Facebook style
Only on Facebook could there about 100 people playing Farmville, another 100 putting up over-done patriotic quotes, and finally a few posting Saturday night’s drunken rampage photos, all on one page.
Oh yes, 10 years later, we haven’t grown up a bit..
Whenever a Virgin Mary statue ‘weeps’.. it’s always in the Phillipines! Maybe there’s something about the Phillipines that Virgin Mary statues just don’t like.
