Some truly horrific details emerge about an infant's killing in Pennsylvania
"Barrise eventually gave birth to a baby girl in Fitzpatrick’s vehicle.
The baby landed on the floor. No one touched the crying baby. All of this took place in front of the eleven year old.
Fitzpatrick told Barrise they were not keeping the baby because they could not afford it.
Court papers go on to say Fitzpatrick drove Barrise and his sister to their home at the Hideout with the baby on the floor of his vehicle.
Before he pulled out, he told Barrise he was going to get rid of the baby.
Barrise asked for a third time if he was going to kill it and again, he did not respond.
Fitzpatrick said he went to his workplace in the woods behind M n’ D Lawn and Tree Care.
There, according to the court papers, he killed the baby, hitting her twice with a cinderblock, and left the cinderblock on top of the baby”
I first was very emotional when I read this story… I then became enraged with anger..
It amazes me how often people make the choice to kill a baby instead of doing something sensible like adoption or even leaving at a hospital.. Killing somehow becomes an option for people. What does that say about society…

…last night’s Coast to Coast AM project, hosted by Ian Punett, had a pretty interesting topic: A professor discussed how the primitive, animalistic underside of human nature, with its sexual fantasies and homicidal tendencies, has actually given rise to the most positive features of our race.
It’s worth listening to if you should do be inclined..

The Republicans may as well have just had someone come out and performed in blackface!
A little tension after an Obama impersonator, Reggie Brown, crossed the line during a comedic bit at the Republican Leadership Contest.
POLITICO reports:
"The Obama impersonator, Reggie Brown, said that while the First Lady celebrated all of Black History Month, the bi-racial president only celebrated half the month.
Brown also said: “My mother loved a black man, and she was not a Kardashian.”
Flashing a picture on the screen of Fred Sanford of “Sanford and Son” fame, the comedian said that’s what Obama would look like when he got older.”
POLITICO went on to report: “As Brown was preparing to make a Michele Bachmann joke, one of the conference’s officials came out to the lectern and told the comedian to leave the stage.”

Father's Day, first edition
First off, it’s my hope that I will have plenty more Fathers Days ahead of my in life.. But it’s still surreal to think that here I am, in the year 2011, ten years after turning the immature and tender age of 21, and I have a child. A wife. A job.. Bills. Insurance payments. And all of the other things which match up to adulthood in some way..
I have a few things in life to look forward to, a few things to dread. When the moment arrives of parent teacher conferences, or nightly sporting events, or piano recitals, or speeches (whichever my son so chooses to be interested in), I may find those nights overly busy and stomach-ached due to late night fast food dinners. But it will go by so fast that I won’t have any way to even absorb the importance at times of what is truly happening around me..
It is my first Father’s Day. And my son is four months young, as I age tremendously fast.
The amazing thing in life I never would have thought of as important is this: Parents make the life of their children number one and abandon selfishness. At least my wife and I did..
Father’s Day indeed..
2011.
My time is flying by.
Stand by Me throughout the heat of the night.. goodnight all

Girl power in Saudi Arabia as they have the NERVE to .. demand the right to drive!? You’ve got to be crazy! They want to drive!? What gives them the belief that they have basic human rights!? Oh this feminist stuff has gone way too far, next they will want to leave the house with their heads exposed. We need to stop this now!!

The latest from the Nebraska nuclear power plant
We are being told it’s dry, but it is surrounded by water.. A second plant is being threatened by flooding.. And perhaps the most interesting story comes from a web source stating that a news blackout has been ordered.
Rumors aside, what is clear: The Fort Calhoun nuclear power station in Nebraska remains shut down due to Missouri River flooding.. A developing story that so few are paying attention to—even in the wake of the Fukushima disaster.. You’d think more would be concerned.

I think, as a nation, we need to start preparing to pay attention to the nuclear power plant in Nebraska
It is being threatened by flooding, the FAA closed airspace over it, and days ago had some issues..
So where is the media attention…? anyone?

*Interestingly, my pediatrician just argued a week ago that my son, and many more kids, may soon have such a screening.. Apparently there are some real questions over that very assumption.

A good day?
Strange day in Florida as a paternity test question halts court..
Before that, a witness said that duct tape found on Caylee Anthony was contaminated a lab tech..
This case continues to be constantly riveting.
Weiner is toast
Why can’t politicians ever do one of the following: 1) resign immediately or even better 2) don’t lie to begin with thereby making the story die faster! Realistic public relations does not exist. Wooden teeth would help. Always…
I somewhat hate teeth
At least real ones. They’re nothing but problems, cavities, fillings, and caps. I think George Washington and those who lives in the age of wooden teeth may have had the right idea.. Unless if course they for splinters.

I think Nancy Grace is downright crazy.
Really.
But somehow her coverage of Casey Anthony is addictive.
Like all vices, we know it’s bad for us.. but we watch anyway..
A few headlines worth looking up

Reuters: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said on Tuesday his wedding this weekend has been canceled because his 25-year-old fiance, a Playmate from his magazine, changed her mind

Some of the new powers that the FBI just got.. oh and it granted itself those powers
The FBI is about to get some dramatic new abilities to look into quite often whomever it wants to.. Not only but including: Expanded use of database searches and even the ability to look through someone’s trash..
Interestingly, there is no court decision or change in privacy laws governing the bureau’s search techniques. But it’s just, well, their decision.
Time.. It’s time. It’s time to search through people’s trash.

The jury saw Casey’s tattoo today saying BELLA VITA, ‘beautiful life’.. The tattoo was inked while Caylee Anthony’s bones were being eaten by animals close to the home..

Fascinating day from the trial that never ceases to disgust or surprise.

A tiny village in the UK is the latest town plagued by 'the hum'
I do believe I have heard the hum here in Pennsylvania. It’s most evident during snowstorms when no cars or rolling or moving.. I don’t think it ever shook my bed, though.. However, according to this UK TELEGRAPH article the HUM is strong enough to do just that to the residents of Woodland, in County Durham..

Love Coal Speaker no matter if it's black or white?
Once a website goes black, it may never go back.. Depending on my mood, perhaps.
To be honest, the constant white background that this site greeted people with was beginning to hurt my own eyes.. We’ll see if the black background with red accents give me less of a headache.. And for those who matter, give me some feedback and let me know if the new look is agreeable to you.. Professional? Less so? …ugly no matter which? Inquiring minds crave the knowledge..

Wide-eyed over new Facebook privacy policy.. be forewarned when you tag
The good old days of privacy.. Ahh, yes. Gone for good.. and ushering it out is the new world of constant surveillance, photos being posted everywhere of you, and your every move being tracked and posted online. And oh, by the way, you are doing it … No need for Big Brother to take something away when you freely give it yourself.
But now new concerns over facial recognition policy on Facebook are becoming real. Facebook is allowing users to identify their friends automatically in photos without their permission. It’s called ‘tag suggestions’ and until now it has just been unavailable. Have fun, kids, yet another tool to rid yourself of privacy.
Once people would have asked, how far is too far? Now the question is gone and replacing it is the race to tag and track it all, chip the arm, log the leg, track the call, and save the searches.
People often say, “If I don’t do anything wrong I have nothing to fear.” Wrong. History tells us that.
Facebook is fun, I have an account, and it’s easy to connect with friends. And it has perfected the 21st century abandonment of those things we once held true to: Privacy. Tag me baby, it’s the new world order.
Why are you basically convicting casey anthony?
I’m not. I put a poll on here a day ago to see people’s thoughts. I post things about the trial and add some commentary on my thoughts on the trial.. I believe all are innocent until guilty, and I believe all are entitled to a decent defense that truly questions the evidence presented by the state.
As a matter of fact, I actually don’t think the state has compelled me yet. I believe without question there are lots of things tying Casey Anthony to the death of her daughter, and the heart stick and “trouble” shirt they find with the skull doesn’t help.
But if I was on the jury, I still would not be decided. I wonder if they will put Casey herself on the stand.. and if so … wow, just imgaine the mad and insane *(and ridiculous) rush to get in the court house that day.
I asked the new world order question but I have a follow up: don't you think religions, organized ones, are worse than government? They have hurt a hell of a lot more people, don't you say?
Not really comparable. Organized religions have been certainly guilty of some pretty harsh things. And so has government. I don’t have a body count, to be honest with you.. but Vietnam, China, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany during the 20th century certainly killed millions upon millions of innocent world citizens.
I guess government killed too.. but I’d be more inclined to believe that through history the ‘state’ killed due to religion much more than the religion itself.
i noticed a ton of new world order stuff and bilderberg stuff on this site lately, i guess I just wonder if you buy into that all? do you actually think "they" are out to get us? whoever "They" are?
News flash: There is a Bilderberg meeting happening now. It’s really happening! No .. really.
And sure, why wouldn’t there be powerful people meeting in order to change or make a world agenda? I consider it a natural that people would do just that.
We need to be a little concerned though when anything happens behind closed doors. The light of the truth coming in, doors wide open, that is how we find out the truth.
Where did you move to when you had to leave Centralia? I find the story of that place interesting, also kind of sad.
Left Centralia in the late 1980s.. My grandmother stayed until she died.. and if you follow it at all some are still holding out there despite government attempts to force them out.
The story is a sad one. It was a nice little town.. very nice. I would have had a much different childhood were there to be no mine fire. Instead there was, so there were fewer and fewer kids to play with and just vacant streets with the constant noise of powered equipment tearing down structures that stood in some cases for well over 100 years.
